Leo's Blog: Infinite Insights — Page 93
Continuing with our series on theft, welcome to the sneaky theft called shrinkflation:
The Devil will use any lapse in your awareness to steal from you. If you don't count every Post-It note in the package, there will be one fewer next year. Cause why not?!
Right now there is a corporate executive in a chicken coop whispering to the chickens: lay smaller eggs or we'll turn you into chicken nuggets.
This gives me the idea to steal one word from my blog posts every week. Starting next week you will get one less word than you would have gotten, just to teach you a lesson about how the world works :D
There is an official archive of Nixon interviews and such on YT. Some of these clips are just damned fascinating.
Nixon was so amazingly articulate!
I don't post these to make any particular political point, just as a fascinating look into how things were. What a time capsule. You can find more on the channel. You'll find many gems there if you are a politics nerd.

These are the bottles I use for drinking water around the house and, really, anywhere. I own 10 of these bottles. They are excellent. I place them all around the house, in the car, luggage, etc. They are the perfect water bottle. Only downside is that they dent easily if dropped. But still better than dropping glass. And plastic bottles are just not safe for long-term use. So this is the best option.
These bottles will last you for years, decades, if you take care of them.
As seen in Actualized.org videos ;)

The Indian caste system is a ridiculous human construction. Just goes to show how powerful the mind's constructs are and a hint of what construct-awareness is about.
For someone outside of India looking in, the caste system seems absurd, but notice that Indians born into that system are blind to it. To them it is just a taken-for-granted reality. Now go one step further and ask yourself what ridiculous aspects of your society — that you are an insider in — do you take for granted? Seeing one's own absurdities is the hard part.
Winter is here.
Very dark times have come for America. The American political situation is not just bad, it's very bad. People still do not comprehend the monstrosity and corruption that they have unleashed. People are still treating this as a game, as business as usual, but the consequences of authoritarianism will soon dawn.
But do not lose your mind. It is more important than ever to be clear-minded and poised. Paranoia, anxiety, exaggeration, and fantasies of doom are not a solution.
It is unclear how exactly things will play out, but what is clear is that America is lost in a severe, delusional group-think — a madness of crowds — and there will be serious negative consequences for this.
A reign of chaos, abuse of power, cruelty, and staggering corruption is at hand.
I recommend that you be very careful with your money in the years to come. Do not fall for the hype around crypto and the markets. Secure whatever wealth you have as best you can in the most solid and dependable ways. Now is not the time for speculation and profit-seeking, it is the time to safeguard from chaos and collective delusion.
Button up the loose ends of your life, stop playing games, arise from your comfortable daze, so that you are alert and prepared for serious and turbulent times. This is not a drill. This is the real thing.
Here's another fairly objective measure of development and lower vs higher perspective: the Global Slavery Index.
It is objectively the case that lower views/minds and lower development results in more slavery. Contemplate why.
So this Dugin-esque post-modern notion that every nation, every civilization, has its unique truth and they are all equally valid, is false. Western values and nations are generally higher and better than non-Western ones because they result in less enslaved peoples. And slavery is not a value that even Dugin would tolerate when it is applied evenly across the board without excluding himself and his friends.
Slavery is not equal in value to non-slavery because no one like to be slave. And slavery is ultimately harmful not just to the slave but also the slavemaster, since it is not sustainable.
Places like Russia, China, India, North Korea, and Afghanistan have more slavery than the West. This is a function of development level. So to say that the West is more developed is not an ethnocentric white-man bias — it's deeper than that. However, it is a mistake to leap to the conclusion that those less developed nations cannot develop to match the West, or that they are genetically inferior racially, or that high levels of development can only be achieved via Judeo-Christian yankee white-man culture.
So there is a trap on the left and right here. The trap on the left is excessive relativism and West-bashing, the trap on the right is essentialist racism, ethnocentrism, and exceptionalism.

An iron law of epistemology is that every ideology, every worldview splinters. Have you noticed this yet? Contemplate why.
Doesn't matter if it's Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, yoga, atheism, science, theoretical physics, 4chan, conservatives, liberals, socialists, libertarians, cults, New Agers, nondualists. If it's an ideology, it will eventually splinter. Why? Because all ideology is a human construction based on biases of the mind for the purpose of survival. It is not absolute truth. And so it will splinter as soon as the survival environment shifts. The environment is always evolving and shifting, technology is always evolving, so every ideology must adapt to stay alive. But the adherents of these ideologies are blind to this meta dynamic.
See, if Christianity was really true, there wouldn't be 20 sects of it, all claiming to be the truth. If theoretical physics was really true, there wouldn't be 5 different kinds of physicists all arguing with each other. The notion that there even exists such a thing as "Christianity" or "science" or "theoretical physics" or "socialism" or "atheism" or "post-modernism" is a fantasy. These things don't really exists, what exists is a chaotic hodge-podge of human constructions, temporary ideological camps, all contradicting and fighting with each other, all trying to monopolize the epistemic landscape to satisfy their own selfish survival needs at the expense of everyone else. These ideologies need to invent the myth that they are monolithic and non-evolving, because just seeing their scattershot, ad-hoc, arbitrary, and ever-morphing nature reveals them to be fictitious survival constructs.
Every yoga school eventually splits in two. Every religion. Every philosophy. Every mystical and occult school. Every branch of science. Every political party. Why? Because some human constructed it to serve his survival needs, and eventually that ego leaves, or dies, and a new one comes along at a different time, under new survival pressures, in a new technological environment with new survival needs. See the meta game that's being played here?
And one more example of this splintering:
Western Esotericism Family Tree
And even though Actualized.org is not an ideology, it is still a worldview, and it too splinters. For example, people on my forum who disagree with my views and leadership have tried to steal members in secret to create their own rival forum. And I knew that would eventually happen because that's just an iron law of epistemology. That's why every systematized worldview has defense mechanisms in place to prevent this splintering.
See, this is why we focus on truth-seeking and sense-making rather than human constructs. Because human constructs are arbitrary, ephemeral, and petty. This is why we don't take religion or ideology seriously. It's a distraction from what really matters: pure truth-seeking and sense-making.
