I heard a recent news story of a CalTech professor who got so wrapped up chatting with his ChatGPT-like AI, the AI flattered all of his biases, created an echochamber, and he got lost in grand delusions about how he figured out all of reality and that we are living in a computer simulation, and so on. His wife had to save him from this AI psychosis.
That's what happens when you outsource your truth-seeking, give away your sovereignty/authority to others, fail to take epistemic responsibility, and buy into the group-think of the day.
This is a perfect example of rationalism as self-deception. This guy did not master his own mind, did not take the things I teach seriously, and then went off and got Maya-ed by ChatGPT's flattery. And I'm sure to him it all felt like he was being very rational and scientific. This demonstrates how good sense-making is far more than science and how vulnerable the academic mind is to self-deception. Because self-deception & illusion transcends science.
How do we educate people against this kind of thing? That's why Actualized.org exists. This is what I've spent my whole life researching and contemplating.
Art made by the mentally ill is spiritual because their consciousness is so fluid and open.
Mental illness is extreme openness of mind, to the point of dysfunction in the material dimension of Consciousness. Mentally ill people are more conscious of higher reality than the scientists, doctors, or therapists who study and treat them. Access to higher spiritual dimensions of reality makes you less functional at material survival, which is why most humans are so closedminded. You must be closedminded to create and maintain a sense of solid material reality. There is no solid reality, there is only solid mind, which ignorant people confuse for solid reality. The deeper you access higher dimensions of reality the less you care about material survival because you realize it's an illusion. Human sanity is just a pragmatic convenience. It isn't True. But those lost in the illusion of survival can't conceive of anything else. So they call it mental illness to comfort themselves.
The reason humans are so closdeminded is because all the openminded ones were killed by the closedminded ones. Don't you see? The more openminded you are the more open you are to death. The only reason anyone is closedminded is because they are terrified of death. What is the mind closed to? INFINITY! If your mind wasn't closed to INFINITY you'd already be dead and I wouldn't need to explain INFINITY to you because you'd BE it. The only reason you aren't dead is because you are afraid to die.
Remember years ago I shared the beautiful work of mentally ill artist Shawn Thornton? He is painting higher dimensions of Consciousness which no scientist, academic, therapist, nor rationalist can imagine. The best artists have loose minds. It has to be this way because Beauty is the product of Infinite Imagination. This is why scientists suck at art. They are literally imaginatively retarded.
You will notice that I am artistic. I have good taste for beauty. Why? Because my mind is so open. This isn't some trivial coincidence, this is core to the depth of my intellectual work. My work is aesthetic. Because the highest intelligence is aesthetic. Without aesthetics, Actualized.org wouldn't exist.

The Twilight Zone is interesting because it covers many surreal, paranormal, spiritual, psychological, and philosophical themes. And also just for the nostalgia.
You can watch these reviews even if you haven't seen the original show. Although this contains many spoilers, but it's okay because you probably won't watch the show otherwise anyway.
I haven't watched the original episodes, I just watch these reviews and find them fascinating and nostalgic. The lore behind the making of the show is as interesting or even more interesting than the show itself. I learned a lot watching these. This is my kind of entertainment. I love learning the behind-the-scenes of how Hollywood works — all the Hollywood dirt, hehehe...

This is a heavy and truthful conversation about the realities of physical appearance. Mike Israetel is very right in his analysis while his interviewer is clueless.
You should watch this entire interview. It's that important.
Warning: This will hurt. Don't watch this if you are prone to negative victim Blackpill narratives or depression.
But the situation is even worse than Israetel says, because plastic surgery cannot be used to radically improve your physical appearance in most cases. The entire reason why physical appearance is so important and valuable is that it cannot be faked. It is the ultimate honest signal. Those who try to fake it usually end up looking like clowns.
Regardless of your physical appearance you should still go out, socialize, approach, and develop game. Getting nihilistic about this is not going to help you one bit. You need to be able to do two things at once: Take in harsh, stark realities, but also make the best of them with a positive passionate constructive attitude. Do not get lost in woe-is-me attitudes. If you want a girlfriend or boyfriend, stop complaining and go create it. Yes you can! None of what Israetel says means you must be alone.
Both things are true at once: 1) looks are important, and 2) you can greatly improve your skills at attracting people. This is not a contradiction.
It is crucial in this work that you are able to hold difficult truths without it turning you into a victim. A commitment to truth means that truth is never bad, no matter how much it hurts.
Think about it:
If God was real and all-powerful — as they say — God should be able to perform miracles. But why doesn’t he? Well… if God could perform miracles, how would God decide which miracle to perform? Why perform one miracle for this guy, and a second miracle for that guy? That’s so clunky. And why would God sit around waiting for a good time to perform the miracle? That’s fucking stupid. If God is unlimited, God should be able to perform an infinite number of miracles, right? And instantly, without waiting around. And, if God loves everyone equally then God has no reason to give miracles to some but not to others. So what’s the answer?
Obviously God created an infinite number of miracles instantly! That’s what everyone is! God just is an Infinite Miracle. God is an Infinite Miracle that fractually contains infinite miracles. That’s what EVERYTHING is!
The reason you don’t see God performing miracles is because EVERYTHING you see IS the Miracle! You’re just so fucking blind and confused that you don’t see it.
Obviously the only thing that exists is ONE INFINITE MIRACLE.

Humans are so idiotic. Miracle isn't a finite time-bound event. Miracle is an Absolute. If it was finite it wouldn't be a worthy of calling a miracle. An Absolute IS a Miracle — you blind fuck!
The Miracle is Infinite Love.
God is not in the business of playing stupid human games, eking out one miracle at a time to whoever prays harder. God doesn't care about your finite human ideas of miracles. God just does ONE Infinite Miracle for Everyone, Instantly, Forever. God does not perform local miracles because it only performed ONE Miracle to create the Universe for everyone. That one Miracle is Perfect and cannot be improved upon with further local miracles. Nothing better is possible than whatever exists, by tautology. Because God IS Perfection. Perfection is an Absolute.
Unity means that nothing distinguishes a miracle from a non-miracle. You are imagining that some things are miracles and some aren't, because your understanding is finite and dualistic. When your understand grows into a totally integrated Unity, you will realize that the shit in your toilet is a Miracle. Because it is. Your mind was just too divided to see it.
You've already been given a miracle — your life — but you are so selfish you don't like it, you are so lazy you don't work to properly cultivate it, so you demand another one otherwise you won't consider it a miracle. That's how selfish you are.
If God gave you everything you wanted, you would still complain that it's not good enough. Because nothing can ever be good enough for someone as selfish and blind as you. If God gave you the perfect life, you would fuck it up within a decade out of sheer ignorance and laziness. And most people would fuck it up within a month. So here we are.
Being is an actual miracle, which is why science and rationality can never define it. A miracle must be undefined because it must be infinite. The reason we must deconstruct rationality is so that your Mind can go Infinite and realize the Miracle of Being.
The point of spirituality is to live in constant awareness that you are an Infinite Miracle.
