jim says: With regards to the section at 1:34 on similarities between the major religions, I saw a YT video the other day that claimed the “3 wise men from the East” were actually Indian Sages who knew this “old soul” Jesus was going to be born.
The video claims that Jesus traveled first to India and then to Tibet where he spent years in a monastery and was known as “Issa”. This would explain the “lost years” of Jesus from age 12-30 where there was just nothing written of him.
This apparently was discovered by a traveler from Russia who broke his leg while traveling and spent the winter with the ancient texts from the Monastery. He returned to Russia and made this claim and was dismissed as a lunatic. Another Russian traveled there years later, read the same texts and confirmed the account.
I’ve often marveled at some of the more Buddhist ideas of Jesus so if this is true, it makes perfect sense.
