What progressives and Bernie supporters don’t understand about how people vote:

Update: I didn’t stress enough in this video how important personality and image is when people select the President. Yes, Spiral Dynamics alignment is crucial, but also personality and image is crucial. Don’t overlook the possibility that many voters simply vote for a person who they are: A) familiar with, B) who fits their party, and C) who’s looks and tone they like. In the case of John McCain vs Barrack Obama, for example, McCain just had the wrong image. Most people vote holistically, not based on any single policy issue. They evaluate a person’s overall vibe and likeability. Because when you’re uninformed, that’s pretty much all you have to go on. And most voters are severely uninformed.
