What Makes MAGA So Cruel?

The point of MAGA is to maintain white supremacy.

America is a white supremacy racket. Always was. MAGA has opened my eyes to this where I didn’t see it before. The reason that many mild conservative and never-Trumpers were shocked by Trump is that he revealed that America has always fundamentally been a white supremacists state, but they operated under the fantasy that it wasn’t. Trump burst this fantasy by being so shamelessly white supremacist thanks to his crassness, which most politicians are too proper to do. Most politicians bullshit themselves about America being a white supremacist project whereas Trump is low enough in development to just say it.

The more America loses its grip on white supremacy, the more reactionary backlash there will be to gain it back.

The reason conservatives are so triggered by accusations of white supremacy and patriarchy is because it is true, but it is too ugly to admit so it must be denied. The Republican party is a white supremacist party — but most of them aren’t even conscious of it, which is why some minorities are part of it. It takes a lot of self-awareness and honesty to notice these things. Most political actors lack this level of self-honesty unless they are outright Nazis.

Ironically a Nazi has more self-honestly than a proper politician. You notice the same thing with far-right Zionists. Far-right Zionists are perfectly clear that their goal is ethnic cleansing and racism. It’s the moderate liberal Zionists who hold the fantasy that Zionism is something else. It is deeply counter-intuitive that folks of lower development and lower consciousness turn out to have more honest politics than moderate, centrist, liberal types. A low consciousness mind is just honest with itself that it wants to rape, kill, or enslave you. It sees no problem with this. It’s the mid-consciousness mind that still fundamentally wants to do those same things but needs to deny that those things are what they are.

There is a sick kind of honesty in Nazism, fascism, and overt racism and sexism. When the mind is low enough, cruelty becomes the point.
