I’ve pointed out this pattern before: Stage Red exhausts itself and evolves into Stage Blue by “finding religion”.

Remember how I said the lower stages of development are very predictable? Well, this is that.

You can watch the Red >> Blue evolution happening right on social media, in real-time. That’s the power of learning developmental psychology. You will understand humanity like no one else. You will see patterns no one else can see.

Note: This example illustrates why I don’t look up to MMA fighters. Their psyches are quite Red. Someone who loves to punch men in the face will have few qualms about raping a woman. It’s all in good fun for Red. To Stage Red, rape is fun. Imagine that!

Note: The Instagramer is being too uncharitable and cynical. These men are not merely using Jesus for a cover-up, they’re actually transitioning from Red to Blue. Believe it or not, that is progress. But, Green cannot appreciate that because it doesn’t understand developmental psychology. So your understanding is already higher than the Instagramer’s.
