The Origins Of Nihilism

The original Russian Nihilists were such devils. This was the original terrorism. Of course Nihilism cannot work. It is pure self-deception. Civilization cannot be anarchistic. These are far-left ideological delusions. This could not end otherwise but with Stalin:

Far-left movements end with far-right counter-balances to restore civil order. But far-leftists are too ideologically lost to understand this, blaming all their own misunderstandings of social reality on the right. Far-leftists repeat this pattern again and again. That’s why I’m not far-left even though I have rather radical ideas about Reality and society. I’m not foolish enough to believe that all of society should be like me. They shouldn’t because society would fall apart. People like me can only exist in tiny percentages under the current order. You cannot hasten the development of mankind through violent revolution and crazy ideas because “success by any means, at any costs” is not a high stage of development. Mature, responsible, conscious people do not behave that way. Terrorizing people for some high ideal is a sure dead end.

If you dislike society that much, just leave. Go live on a secluded island or in the forest somewhere. Don’t try to drag all of society down with you. It simply will not work. If you hate society, don’t try to fight it, just go do your own thing. You will be far happier than staging a failed revolution. But losers love to drag everyone else down with them. If you’re going to be an ideological weirdo, at least have the common sense to do so alone. Don’t try to scale your weirdo ideology to all of society. That’s so childish. Most people just need to be traditional and ordinary. You cannot make the bulk of society radicals through radical action. And you cannot divert the course of civilization. That is such arrogance.

Bottom line: Russian Nihilism is stupid. It is stupid because it could never work. You have to be intelligent enough to discard any political worldview that has zero chance of working.
