The Importance Of Recognition

As I’ve said, RECOGNITION is a function of higher consciousness and is assumed for any of science to work. You could not do science without sufficient recognition, which means sufficient Consciousness.

Now imagine that there exists a higher degree of recognition than a human’s, which, if the human acquired it, would allow the human to recognize himself in the mirror as God. That is precisely what Awakening is. Awakening is not belief, not knowledge, not science, not theory, not a worldview, not a philosophy, not an idea, not even an insight, but recognition. Well… insight and recognition can overlap.

This is why God cannot be proven to anyone. Because recognition is more fundamental than proof. Proof assumes recognition is present. But if recognition is absent, all proof will fail. Until science understands this, science will not understand God.

It took me a long time to understand what prevents Awakening/God-Realization from happening. All the answers I got from gurus and teachers were lacking or wrong. The answer is: insufficient recognition.

This also explains why animals (most) cannot be Awakened. Awakening is not about loss of self/ego. Awakening is about recognition of God. Animals lack self/ego, but that does not make them Awake because they lack recognition of themselves as God. A dog may have no ego, but a dog does not recognize that it is God.

But now contemplate: What is recognition? Why is any degree of recognition possible at all? And what creates recognition?
