Succession
By Leo Gura - June 29, 2025
I watched two seasons of this show, Succession. Loosely based on the Rupert Murdoch family. It’s a portrayal of the unconscious pervertry of rich and powerful business tycoons. It’s a tribute to corporate and elitist corruption. It’s this kind of mindset that is destroying democracy, destroying America, destroying politics. It’s a cartoon caricature of toxic Stage Orange unconscious behavior, Trump’s version of America. This is what people without a single spiritual bone in their body behave like. It’s both sickening and intriguing. It’s sickening to know that this is how the largest corporations are run. Pure corruption. The corporate world is basically one giant disease and they themselves do not know it. There cannot be a healthy society when minds this sick are in charge.
But the show is very well made, well written, well acted.
When I talk about how luxury is corruption, this show is what I mean.
Most people don’t realize the extraordinary amount of corruption required to maintain luxury and power. These things are not a natural condition, they require constant struggle. You must constantly fight, lie, and manipulate to maintain an unequal advantage over others, to keep them as your servants and minions.
