Should You Read The Bible?

Have I read the Bible? No.

Have I read the Koran? No.

Why not?

Because I don’t need to. Because I don’t want to pollute my mind with human noise. My understanding of God is superior to all of that thanks to thinking independently. The only reason people revere and read those books is out of conformity. It’s all just conformity. This is counter-intuitive because academics and intellectuals want to gaslight you that you need to read these important books, these pillars of civilization and history. No! You don’t. The only reason to read those books is entertainment. Those books will not help you understand God. Just the opposite, they will fill your head with absurd human ideas about God. Every minute you spend reading the Bible is a minute lost not experiencing God.

Notice, the only reason those books are deemed important is conformity and cultural narcissism. There is no other reason. The only reason humans think those books are important is because everyone else does. Bible studies are a circle jerk. You are not questioning if the Bible is truly important. You’re just assuming. If you want to read the Bible for fun, fine, but don’t kid yourself that it gets you to God. The Bible gives you neither the epistemic tools nor an accurate description of God. The Bible is a caveman’s understanding of God. That’s why it is so bigoted. God doesn’t punish anyone, God doesn’t test anyone, God doesn’t judge anyone, God does not abandon anyone, God doesn’t send anyone to Hell, and there is nothing special about Jesus or Mohammad. All of that is human ignorance.

Keep in mind that the more spiritual books you read, the more your mind will operate on spiritual group-think. To take the Bible seriously is already a trap. You cannot trust anything the Bible says. You cannot even trust that Jesus was real. It’s just a human story. If you actually knew God you would not care about the Bible more than a comic book.

“But Leo! Wouldn’t your understanding of God be more complete if you were just more humble and read the Bible?”

No.

God is so far beyond the Bible that the Bible is irrelevant.

Open your mind to the possibility that you don’t need the Bible at all. Think of it like this: Do alien species need the Bible to know God? Obviously not. Are they missing something important for not having access to the Bible? Obviously not. Thinking that the Bible is so important that everyone needs to read it, is just mindless cultural narcissism. Beware, cultured and sophisticated people will try to gaslight you on this because they have nothing better to do. They need to justify their overpriced education to themselves somehow. They need to believe that going to Yale and studying the Bible made them more intelligent. Lol.

Stop. Taking. Human. Consensus. Seriously.

Think. For. Yourself. << that’s how you reach God.

Note: Don’t get me wrong, there are a few valuable phrases and ideas in the Bible. But no more-so than you will find in any modern spiritual book. But defenders of the Bible will cling to those few phrases like a security blanket. I post more valuable insights about God in one week on this blog than everything found in the Bible. I know, I know, you’re not allowed to say such things. But what did you expect from a book written by bigoted cavemen? A caveman cannot understand God. His development level is too low. It’s not because I am some genius, it’s because I’m 2000 years more developed. A cavaman does not have my education, and education matters. A caveman never accessed 5-MeO-DMT. So why are you reading books written by cavemen and taking them so seriously? That’s not the caveman’s error, that’s your error. Even a caveman would understand that you shouldn’t take a caveman’s book seriously if you got books that are 2000 years more advanced.

The absurd irony in all this is that if a smart caveman was teleported to our time, he himself would say, “You guys are fucking crazy for taking my book so seriously given how much more advanced you are today. Let me get this straight, you guys launch rockets to the moon and you still take my book seriously? What the fuck is wrong with you? My book was just the best I could muster as a caveman.”
