Science Is Spirit

If you take a microscope and you zoom into Spirit, you will see molecules and atoms. If you take Spirit and put it into a particle collider, you will see quarks and electrons. If you measure Spirit with a ruler, you will discover it obeys mathematical equations. If you take Spirit and you split some of its atoms, Spirit will erupt in a nuclear explosion that kills you. Spirit behaves in all the ways science has measured, and much more which science does not know how to measure.

Just think of it like this: If Spirit existed, you could do science on it, because Spirit has logical structure and is rational up to a point. That’s why science works at all. Science does not contradict Spirit, science is done by Spirit on Spirit. Science is one way in which Spirit understands itself, but it is far from the only or the best way. Spirit can also understand itself directly, without the use of science. Limited aspects of Spirit can be understood with science, but not All of Spirit because science is too partial to grasp All of it at once. But Spirit can grasp All of itself at once, that’s called Awakening.

Science is a limited aspect of Spirit. That’s why it works. But science is not self-aware enough to recognize itself as Spirit. So today’s science denies Spirit, but future science will recognize Spirit and regard today’s science as blind. Spirit is trying to understand itself, through science, but also through any other means. If Spirit convinces itself that it can only be known through science, then Spirit has foolishly cut itself off from the highest dimensions of itself, which cannot be reached through science because the holism of science is too low. If the holism of science increases enough, it stops looking like science and starts to look like mysticism. So today’s science defines itself by its lack of holism, in opposition to mysticism, out of bigotry.

Consider this seriously:

If you told a white slavemaster 200 years ago, “You are no different from black people”, the response would be, “No way! That’s fucking crazy! How dare you! You are a traitor to the white race!”

If you tell a scientist today, “Science is no different than mysticism”, the response will be, “No way! You’re fucking crazy! How dare you! You are a traitor to science!”

A bigoted Spirit denies its Unity with all the things it has demonized. An open Spirit sees that it is One with all things. The bigotry of science is just a recycling of the bigotry of religion, tribalism, and racism, but at a more subtle level. That bigotry never disappeared, it just evolved into science. Did you really think that bigotry would disappear after you realized religion is stupid? Of course not. Bigotry is a much deeper problem than religion. Of course scientific bigotry exists.

This reminds me of today’s conservatives who think that racism has disappeared. Of course something as deep as racism has not disappeared in 60 years. Something as toxic as racism doesn’t just disappear overnight, it evolves into more subtle and sneaky forms. Notice the parallels.
