Relativity Explained In A Nutshell

Simply put, relativity means that you can draw an equally valid map of the Earth from any angle, not just with North as up or Britain at the center. A map of Earth is just as valid if it centers New Zealand with North at 49 degrees. But now extend this relativity to ontology/being itself. When scientists say that Reality is made of atoms, quarks, strings, or equations, this is as foolish as saying that the center of the Earth is Britain and North is up. Science does not yet understand that ontology is entirely relative.

“But Leo, if ontology is relative, doesn’t that mean that when you say that reality is Consciousness/God then that’s also relative?” No. Consciousness/God is not relative, it is absolute. The difference is that Consciousness/God is not like an atom, quark, string, equation. Those are all finite, relative things. Consciousness in not like that. Consciousness is not a thing at all! Consciousness is made out of every finite possibility. Consciousness is what makes ontology relative. So there is no performative contradiction here. It is absolutely the case that Consciousness is the only Reality, and this Consciousness is made out of literally Everything/Nothing. The Reality of Consciousness is not relative, it is absolute. But all finite substances are relative.

When I say that Reality is made of Consciousness this is different in kind from anything scientists say when they propose their finite physical theories. These are not alike claims because all their claims are finite and my claim is Infinite. Infinity is the only correct ontology. Infinity as the one true ontology is what creates endless relativity. Infinity is the absolute container for all things relative, like science.

Infinity as an ontology exists in a category of its own, in a category that contains only one member, Itself. That is why Reality is precisely how it is and not otherwise, because there is only one way it could be. All other ways are self-deception. Another way to think about this is: Infinity is all possible ways. There is only one way to be all possible ways. If you drew a map of the Earth in every possible way, that would be what Reality is truly like. Reality/Consciousness/God is all-inclusive. That’s why your way of viewing it feels so real and true, because your one way is an infinitesimal part of Absolute Truth.

“Consciousness is made of atoms” is just one infinitesimal way of viewing Reality. Scientists don’t understand this yet. They keep assuming Reality can be explained with some collection of finite views. What is quantum mechanics? What is string theory? What is physics? What is evolution? What is science? What is math? These are all just finite, narrow views of Infinity.

No collection of finite views can ever explain Infinity/God/Consciousness/Reality/Truth, unless the collection is infinite. It is as if scientists are trying to explain the entire number line by picking individual favorite numbers. One physicist says the number line is made out of 3s. Another says its made out of 5s. And then they argue endlessly with each other about it, thinking that one of them must be right. No. They are all wrong. They are all playing finite games when the real game is Infinite.
