Psychiatry Corruption
By Leo Gura - January 18, 2026
This doctor quit his $700k/yr big pharma job because he saw how corrupt the whole system is and couldn’t take it any more. Good for him.
But imagine how few doctors in his position would have the balls to do that? Most humans just conform to corruption because it is too hard to go against it. And when they conform they don’t even register it as such. They don’t see it as surrendering to corruption, they rationalize it as good. In this way evil tricks people into thinking it is good. The degree to which the entire healthcare system is corrupted by profit-maximization is insane. This is a case-study in how evil metastasizes like a cancer. All of it goes back to not caring enough about truth.
Most doctors do not have time to actually service their patient’s healthcare needs, because that would be too expensive. So instead they just ask you a few questions within a 10-minute window, and write you an overpriced drug. Because that’s all that can be done in the structure of a 10-minute window. Doctors visits should really be like Actualized.org videos: 3 hours of diagnosing and troubleshooting your problems. Instead they are like TikTok videos. Doctors are part of giant bureaucracy which is not asking what is best for patient health, it is asking how to maximize profit. This is the wrong thing to be asking and truly is a violation of the Hippocratic Oath. The Hippocratic Oath is an obligation to treat patients ethically, to the best of one’s ability. Most doctors only treat patients to the best of their ability while maximizing profit. That’s why healthcare sucks. You can’t trust doctors to have the time to care about you. Even if they want to care, the system just won’t let them because it slows down business.
Here’s the deep insight: Truth/Love is bad for business. You have to be a psychopath these days to succeed in the corporate world. Why does the corporate world suck? Because it leaves no room for Truth/Love. The corporate world is always about maximizing profit. This is devil-worship.
This is why I said that truth-seeking is really about changing your lifestyle. It’s not just science or philosophy, truth-seeking always involves the emotionally painful realization that you are embedded deep in a corrupt system. Truth cannot be seen from within this system, placing the responsibility on you to leave the system. But you don’t even know how you will survive outside the system. This is why most people never find truth. Truth-seeking requires inventing new, better ways of surviving, which takes serious work.
The reason I can do truth-seeking is because I invented a new way of surviving for myself. Actualized.org IS my better way of surviving. It is a way that allows me to serve my survival needs while also seeking truth. You need to invent something like that for yourself. I don’t mean a website or a YouTube channel, I mean you need to invent a more truthful way of surviving that suits your values, interests, passions, and style. Do not limit your ideas to websites, YouTube channels, teaching, or coaching. Think more outside the box. Find new creative avenues. You can’t just emulate me, you have to do something unique and fresh that suits your personality. It takes years to find that, so be patient and don’t lose hope.
Key insight: In order to be a Good person you must challenge and refuse falsehood. Refuse to live falsely.
