Here’s a great example of what happens when one does not have an understanding of Spiral Dynamics.

A fundamental misunderstanding of stage Green and regression to Blue:

If your daddy was like Trump, I feel sorry for you. You will need a lot of therapy as an adult.

Notice how the stage Blue value system easily turns into a justification for authoritarianism: shut up, man up, and obey your tyrant daddy so that one day you can be as macho and as heartless as him.

A masculinity that supports an authoritarian and corrupt government is toxic masculinity.

This is a corruption of masculinity created by a fragile and biased ego.
