Reflecting on my own selfishness, I felt it was hard to trust my own assessment of myself. Nor could I trust the opinions of my online critics, who sometimes accuse me of narcissism. I wanted to find some objective metric. So I found this brief online Narcissistic Personal Inventory.

I scored 13/40. Higher scores indicate greater narcissism.

The average US celebrity in 2009 scored 17.8/40

I’m surprised I didn’t rank higher.
