The ancient Greek word for truth was Aletheia. It was popularized by the earliest Greek philosophers.

How is Aletheia defined?

Aletheia is variously translated as “unconcealedness”, “disclosure”, “revealing”, or “unhiddenness”. It also means “reality”. It is the antonym of lethe, which literally means “forgetting”, “forgetfulness”.

What is it that’s being unconcealed? Maya. God’s hallucination of the universe.

Why is its opposite forgetfulness? Maya. God dreams so deeply that it forgets it was God.

The opposite of truth is being lost in a dream. Every untruthful person is just God lost in a juicy dream. Philosophy isn’t what academics think it is. Philosophy is really about one thing: the study of how God dreams Reality. True philosophy is about uncovering the cosmic hallucination. Philosophy is the pursuit of Truth. This is different from science, different from religion, different from a cult, different from academia, different from scholarship, different from religious studies, different from meditation, different from personal development, different from proof, different from avoiding suffering.
