Advanced Machining In Ancient Egypt?

I’ve been researching all sorts of ancient civilizations lately, just for my amusement, and found some great videos exploring the incredible stone work done in ancient Egypt which seems to show signs of advanced machining.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting that aliens made the pyramids. It just seems like there might have been a pre-Egyptian civilization with insanely advanced stone cutting technologies which might have been lost to time. Watch the following videos to really appreciate how impossibly perfect some of the earliest Egyptian stonework is. It’s hard to imagine that large circular saws were not used to cut some of this granite. I’m not dogmatic about it one way or another. It’s just interesting to speculate about how such stone work was done.

I’m not a fan of wild speculation and outlandish mystical theories about ancient Egypt. I think there are many bad New Age theories out there on YouTube about ancient Egypt. What I prefer are grounded documentaries. But even so, mainstream history and science may be underestimating the ancient Egyptians and especially their predecessors. It’s possible that some very advanced people lived in Egypt long before the ancient Egyptians who are so well-known today.

In order to keep yourself from getting deluded on this topic it’s important to remind yourself that all of this is speculation. This means you should keep an open mind to multiple alternative possibilities. Be especially wary of jumping to exotic and fantastical explanations where mundane explanations may suffice. Don’t underestimate how much mastery is possible just through insane and clever work. One thing is clear, the ancient Egyptians were Lords of Stone.
