Option 1:

  • You are a millionaire
  • You can get any romantic partner you want and they will stick with you
  • You're healthy

But you can only be medium happy at most

Option 2:

  • You'll always be broke
  • You can never get laid
  • You always have a cold

But you're extremely happy

What the heck, I pick them all. Doesn't really matter since I'm none of those things. I don't even care to be happy as happiness is only a temporary state. I AM is the one who is ever witnessing it all and I am not even the I AM as the I AM is even the seer of what I claim I am. So, it doesn't matter. I choose all or none.

Option number 1. Success is more important than happiness. Happiness comes and goes, but success will stay with you forever. Living a meaningful life is more important to me than living a pleasurable/happy life. To go after your purpose, there are gonna be days when you are not going to be happy and that is okay. It is okay to not be happy. What is not okay to me is living below my potential. I would regret that the most on my deathbed.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed
