Higher consciousness from physical activity

3 posts in this topic

I've noticed that with my workouts, runner's high type of thing, actually any type of high seems to highten my consciousness now

Anyway after a good workout I always feel like I could drop some acid, I get that "I don't even really care if I die right now" type of vibe

No space, no time, nothing but you/this/here/now

I experience good shifts in consciousness when doing martial arts.

BJJ and boxing offer both unique states of consciousness to explore. Something that is not so easily accessible in other sports, despite elite athletes claims, with martial arts you get it easily when someone is trying to choke you. Top gimnasts and basketball players talk about very different states of consciousness but you play basketball and don't enter into that zone so easily. With martial arts it just happens, you have no choice.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Yep

Sadhguru quoted someone who said you are closer to the divine in sports than you are in prayer

which is often true, cos in the thick of a game, you must be present

during prayer / meditation you could be thinking about breakfast, your work or anything

Personally believe everyone should have at least 1 physical practice, even just for the 'Human' benefits it gives you
