Ok, I get what you're saying, without the "(you)"re. So I get what 're saying.

From now on you're becomes 're and you've becomes 've and you'll becomes 'll. Nice. Less typing.

Trust me… there will definitely be a “you” when you are dealing with illnesses. I’m learning to love myself during this process :S

Communicating it to you will help spread my illness… I mean, love xD

@Ishanga @Hojo @Breakingthewall no one can know what enlightenment is because there is no you to be enlightened. Give 8 minute to watch this.

the self is not enlightened, but set aside so that in its place there is an opening through which the substance of reality flows. Then the self closes again, and remembers, but that memory is just a memory. useful because it calms the self and facilitates new openings, but it is not an enlightened self, that does not exist

Samsara vs Nirvana

We are embodied Beings, we have a Body/Mind complex to use as tools, while here embodied on this material planet and universe, but Body/Mind is not what we are, what we are is Life (some call this Soul, God, Intelligence, Brahman, etc...), so Enlightenment is when One Individual is in Realization of this, internally they are in the Experience of Oneness, Completeness, Bliss, Consciousness, all these dumb words/labels, but still are here on this planet as Undercover Yogi's:)

Papji is great, but no method offered, just talking...

Is this a thread of mature discussion?

Are we communicating effectively?

In my humble opinion, papaji is telling a story that makes no sense about what something he calls samsara is and how something he calls god creates, and that it is not real but a dream and blah blah. who cares? What is the difference between real or unreal? It's exactly the same. Memory is an energetic structure that exists, you can call it illusion, reality, or whatever you prefer. What we're talking about is transcending all of that, breaking through all of that and allowing the reality to manifest, the pure substance of existence, and this have no relation with samsara, illusion, etc, they are just concepts .

And I have to believe that Papaji did it?  I haven't seen anything in that video that makes me think that's the case, just a brunch of concepts without any meaning

It is nothing to do with method. Listen papaji carefully he is saying Nothing ever happened and realization of this is Nirvana.

If you know what happens when you die, you know what enlightenment is. Krishnamurti, papaji, Peter Ralston etc... why do you think all these people says the same thing?

Yes, but can You Realize it? If not then one will need a method, the problem with looking at certain individuals, like Papaji or Ramana M, is that their individual karmic make up may have made them more easily accessible to Enlightenment.. They are Top Down Individuals/Teaching Method, they say just Realize it, no methods needed but can one Realize in the Now?

The other way is too start where You are at, forget Enlightenment, God, Infinity and such grandiose concepts, just be Peaceful of Your Own nature every moment of every day, don't be an emotional slave to every situation that happens in your life, from that then Life opens up and more possibility/potential happens, to do this there are many methods to allow Peace to be Your natural state of Experience....

Of course. You or I can't realize. When I (ego) drops enlightenment happens. When you forget everything you know, genuinely not knowing is what enlightenment is. Because ego is the one who knows, learns, Borns and dies. Real You is always same. This is our so called temporary reflection.

Yes I can agree with that. I think the whole process of Spiritual Development, Yoga, Buddhism and Taoism etc,, it is not there to make You Enlightened, its just washing away all the crap, which is Ego, Karma, Unhealthy Thoughts and Ideologies and such, when that happens then Enlightenment is Realized, its just how to do that in this day and age where Intellect, Thinking, Ideology/Concepts rule!!

I don't know what they think, I read some Krishnamurti long ago and I thought he just wanted to sound smart.

Saying that nothing ever happened is just an idea of the mind, it doesn't mean nothing, and its a lie, the memory exist, It is an energy footprint.

The reality is now and the memory is now.  The thing is not knowing that everything is an illusion, or god or anything, is to open the now and see, transcend the conceptual dimension, enter in the magic, the flow of reality, and merge with it. Everything else belongs to the conceptual dimension. But the memory, the samsara as papaji said, is real, It is an energetic pattern that cements the structure of your psyche. You will not escape from it with easy formulas like thinking that it does not exist. You must face it and dissolve it. You must understand your structure, and honestly I think Papaji doesn't understand anything, only easy solutions that have been of no use to anyone.

These people dedicated them life to spirituality. Ok, I can understand 1 or 2 teachers says what I say. However, almost every enlightened teachers says the same thing. Believe to 5 meo brother. Your direct experience, unfortunately you are open minded, however there is no such thing as mind.

Empty your cup.
