Existential void

5 posts in this topic

After a challenging psychedelic experience, I found myself grappling with a profound sense of emptiness in existence—a deep void of meaning and connection. Initially, I believed it would fade, and indeed, there were moments of relief. However, a decade later, this emptiness looms even more intensely. I am now grappling with fear and occasional despair. Is there a path to rediscover and reclaim my sense of self and purpose?

You have to dive deep into understanding of yourself as a person, the more you do the more sense of self will come ,you tried psychadelics on weak foundation as an ego...

There is nothing safe with playing it safe.

Is it accurate to say, after all your spiritual experiences, there is now a "you" which "knows" things, a "knower" so to speak, which views your current experience through the lens of those past experiences, and that this "knowing" did not exist before those experiences? And this knower knows that things have no meaning, this knower has a better view of how experience and meaning works. It knows that things are illusory, that things are not as they seem, and that things are existentially unstable?

Describe a thought.

I was experiencing a terrifying extensional void last night until I realized that I was making it up the entire time.

I AM itching for the truth
