What makes you happy?

9 posts in this topic

Good question. Me, firstly. It is the case that it is generated by you, not circumstances.

Then, certain activities assist me in feeling happy -- meditating, reading, contemplating some profound question, walking my dog, writing down insights, understanding something.

- A degree.

- Be sponsored to travel.

- Buying me a camera.

- And a 33k $ .

That will make me happy ~ nothing more~~~

First and foremost, nothing.

From there can be love, food, and the rest of life.

None of those will make you happy. They'll just give you a dopamine rush. A week, two years? It'll fade away.

Once you get all that, you'll be here asking for other things that'll make you happy.

It's never ending.

You simply see Consciousness as all of the above and below, just don’t hold onto any them as the one and only Truth. Eternal shapeshifting

Don’t hold onto me, either!
