Why YOU can't be GOD.

God is not a man in the clouds, or the right to do whatever you want.

It’s what is. You are what is.

Denying your direct experience and life is madness. You exist. You… are…. IT

It's because I'm not a pretentious spiritual douchebag and I think it's perfectly fine, acceptable and even 'human' to be annoyed.

Because most of truth seekers here are stroking their cock to the idea of being God. Some balancing seemed relevant and needed. Just look how much they don't like me killing their boner.

Yes. It just is. It is not you, and it is not not you. It only is.

What's seemingly trying to convince you or anyone else of anything, are just thoughts. God is losing itself in thought. And that's where you, I, we, them and all that shit exists. In thought.

God is not limited to a thought.

to whom this matter.

how do you know what I m exactly

Anyone who's lost in the thought 'I am God'.

Good God... this whole absurd discussion just isn't ever going to end, is it? xD

It’s silly to say you are n̶o̶t̶ God when God is infinite.

There you go. See how it cuts both ways?

The fact that God is infinite means that no statement about it can ever be correct. The end.

It's ridiculous that this is even being argued.

There just is no identity in pure being. God is not a title that you wear as a badge. Stop fooling around and do the fucking work.

What is mature spirituality?

This is the most important question I am asking myself with regards to the spiritual aspect of my life. I notice on this forum that we are coming from many different paths: religions, genders, identities, cognitive capacities, Trauma histories, age groups, etc

When you mix us all in a forum talking about such lofty subjects it gets rather complicated to talk and understand what we each mean.

I think a common goal that rings true to Actualized.org videos and teachings is that what we are trying to do is develop a mature spirituality using the best methods to do so.

Many of us taking on this massive challenge are starting at low levels of development. We are so low in development in fact that we cannot fathom how developed a human can become spiritually, cognitively, and creatively.

We develop a spiritual maturity that looks different at each part of our journey. If we are really just starting out with Actualized.org material, or have little experience studying philosophy, and spiritual topics such as God, awakening, different states of consciousness, infinity, paradox etc... It makes sense to be really humble, patient and relaxed learning about these things. It also makes sense to go slow, be extremely cautious and ensure you are going about your progress in a mature and safe way. If you make mistakes, take 100% responsibility and become wise.

I think it's important that we go slow, take our time and focus on asking ourselves the questions...

1. Is this really true?

2. What do I know for sure?

3. What have I directly experienced?

4. What don't I really know?

5. How can I learn more?

6. How can I become more conscious?

7. How can I become more loving?

8. How can I become more spiritually mature?

9. How can I communicate about spiritual matters in a mature way?

10. Could my saying God is real just be a belief or identity I've created? Or is my belief their is no god just a belief or an identity I've created?

11. What is the difference between absolute truth and relative truth?

12. How many books have I read on spirituality?

13. Am I sure I am mature enough for spirituality at this point in my life?

14. How do I make sure to balance all the areas in my life?

15. How do I relate with human communication of spiritual topics when symbols aren’t enough to explain spiritual truths?

16. Is spirituality right for me?

… there are probably hundreds of questions we could ask to lead us to more mature spirituality.

I am in fact focusing on relaxing today, thanks. I assume I'm coming off far more agitated than I actually am. I'm not that bothered at all, but I do have a bit of an attitude and I am going through my own little process, so yeah...

Was not reading all of your comments, outside of our conversation, but I think I kind of get where you stand. I figured we more or less understood each other a few pages ago.

My partner is God. Not just me. The magnificent exploration of different perspectives and lenses could not be possible if not for God.

Being Consciousness and having a partner is no contradiction. It’s LOVE

My partner is CONSCIOUSNESS!

Make this your daily affirmation:

I Love Consciousness

Read very carefully. This is so simple and straightforward that it will probably fly over your head. The importance of it, however, cannot be stressed enough.

YOU cannot ever be GOD.

There is no space for YOU in GOD.

If there is YOU, there is no GOD.

If there is GOD, there is no YOU.

If there is you, there is also I. There is them too. There is this and there is that. There is here and there is over there.

Can you see how none of that can be GOD?

Only GOD can be GOD. And is.

GOD is not an identity. Not an entity. Not a place in time. Not an activity or an appearance.

It is Pure Being. Pure Isness. Pure Consciousness.

Nothing more or less.

It cannot be pointed towards, because the finger that's doing the pointing is also it. There is nothing but it in existence. YOU cannot be it, because YOU are a defined, limited, finite construct. And GOD is undefined, limitless and infinite.

YOU cannot be GOD because the finite cannot be the infinite.

What you can do, is realize that the deeper you're willing to let go of yourself, of this YOU character... the more of GOD there will be.

God is you but you aren't God.

A phrase originally coined by @Synchronicity.  But he was absolutely right.

That said - we can also say you are God- because there is absolutely no one else to be God but you.  You are the only thing in existence.

There are just things you have deliberately hid from yourself so that you can experience a limited existence.   That limited existence is what makes you not God - for the time being ...But it was you that did the hiding - and it's only you that can find what is hidden.

None of you guys here have realized God.

But all of you have a God complex.

Sad but true.

Well what's the difference between being God realized and not God realized?  You're still God either way

I thought it - and almost posted it - before he coined it. But then I thought that it would just create unnecessary confusion and went "f*** it". ¬¬
