Hey Martin, remember my thread before where I was going through trouble?  I'm not entirely through it, but I made the biggest breakthrough of my life. Every person I come across I feel a deep genuine love and compassion for them as if they were like my own child.  A couple people I had this happen to were coworkers that I previously disliked.  It's really bizarre.  Have you experienced this?

@Heart of Space What I have experienced is irrelevant.

However what should happen on the journey is from love being selective, coming from "lower, selfish" needs, grow into unconditional love of all.

@Heart of Space I've had similar feelings, but i't probably not very relevant.

Love may be our most natural state.
I've found such a love/fascination for life itself at times, as if i loved everything. People, but also everyday things, basically everything i gazed upon really filled me with deep love/satisfaction. I remember thinking, "i'm in love, but i don't know with who exactly, it's like i love everything". The fact that people can be mean doesn't matter, you are still watching/loving the miracle of these people's existence.

I've also found compassion in the realization of the human condition. Everyone is the same, all these problems and idea's and mental issues i've experienced, everyone is experiencing them. So many people are struggling, mean people perhaps the most of all, it's natural to feel compassion for their suffering and how they are set in their broken ways. Especially if you have found a solution in spirituality and know they will never even consider it, stuck in the dream. Outside appearances may mislead, but most people are suffering in their mental world.

 

Hope you are  fine with your troubles, i wish you happiness and success in everything you do!
A person who can love his enemies should not deserve trouble. You are wiser than you think.

I've had the same feeling.  Like it's simply the way the universe naturally expresses itself.  

Thank you.  I was struggling, but I was only going through a kind of spiritual purging.  I almost feel like an entirely different person now.  I've never felt love like this before.  Thanks for commenting and giving me insight into this, because it's very new for me and I'm trying to understand it.

Love is the driver that drives the world. Love makes the world go round. But love is not to be taken lightly. Because love is the only force that unites the world. 

When we're on our spiritual path, we realize that we have lower needs conditioned by society that we keep struggling to fulfill in a hamster on a wheel lifestyle. 

But as we grow, we begin to have higher needs based on unconditional love and compassion. Only that brings true peace and bliss !

@Martin123 Thank you.  But I no longer need love.  I don't think love is the natural state either like a lot of others do.  Love is egoic.  Even self love is egoic.  What you want is acceptance not love per se.

you're finding the real love. the culturally known love is a farce.
