For me this guy is at a level that few humans have achieved. you have to see him, what is inside is transmitted, the divinity flows in him

I would say that this guy looks into the face of infinity and opens himself completely to it.

I always think this conversation never happened, like when you make your two groups of friends meet.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Is this available anywhere else other than Netflix?

You are imagining Ram Dass.

I loved Jesus Christ too.  But then I realized I fucking created him.  Taking back your authority - that takes open mindedness- it takes going against the norm.

No one puts their authority on Ram Dass, in fact in the documentary it doesn't say anything, it's just that by turning inward you find yourself, it's something you have to do, no one else can do it. This is real, but all that: I am God imagining reality, it is simply a mental construction, it means absolutely nothing

Ram Dass may be enlightened, but he certainly isn’t AWAKE.

@Yimpa ...and You know that...

I don't know, but in such statements like Yours or @Inliytened1 not only do they sound like you have all the knowledge, but they also conceal some fundamental lack of respect for both the people they directly concern and those for whom these figures are important or even sacred. Think about it.

When I made the thread about Ram Dass it was not to glorify his figure, but to try to illustrate the difference between conceptual knowledge achieved through insights and a true openness to pure reality.

imo enlightenment is opening, and for opening to occur, the ego must move away, since it is the door that closes, that veils perception with its structures. If the structure dissolves, the pure light of existence shines, and that is seen in this guy. What he says is irrelevant, what he is is the key

My main take aways of Ram Dass work is the importance of love, embracing old age and dying, dealing with suffering, the complexity of family life, and his down to earth way of making you feel like he is lovingly going through the same as you are.
