Dreamcatcher (awareness practice)

Tomorrow will never be the same as yesterday, and yesterday never felt like today.

The fundamental principal of Maya that it morphs and changes so fast! In this “world” there is nothing and no one to cling to. The nature of your feelings, emotions, sensation is the void. It does not mean that they should not exist, however the main thing to realize is that you should not do anything with them. Just observe and let them go. People is your mirror that shows you the parts of yourself you must work on.

During the day, catch your dreams and thoughts. Notice them. What is the major part that takes 90% if your thinking: relationship, money, success, self-development, etc. It is your biggest attachment.  Food for your brain, therefore suffering. “Thou shalt not make into thee any graven image; do not worship anything or anybody blindly”. And we are constantly worshiping our thoughts more than anything, thoughts are tasty, they feel pleasant. Mind’s fantasies put people into depression.

What we can do throughout the day is noticing our thinking patterns and slowly put attention on the body, or any external stimulus to come back from annoying thinking, becoming more aware of here and now. Practice it every day and you will see a huge difference. I used to have an alarm on my phone that helped me to emerge from thinking, relax and return to awareness. You can choose the frequency and set it however you want. As soon as you hear your alarm, stop for a moment, and get in touch with external environment: look around you, feel your body. It feels amazing to be able to drop this massive weight of thinking and not to worry about the future. Here and now! Always fresh, always new, always joyful. And really you do not know what waits on you around the corner. :x
