I think part in order to increase my ability to communicate on the forum is to reply less unless it’s well thought through.

I can think of a thread in dating au forum where I replied immaturely and perhaps not with full respect. Silly.

Have I been communicating openly and effectively with those close to me?

Am I nurturing relationships that matter most and setting boundaries where necessary?

Are there any relationships I’ve neglected or could improve?

Have I celebrated or expressed gratitude for the people in my life?

6. Spirituality

Am I making time to connect with my inner self or a higher power?

How aligned do I feel with my values and purpose?

Have I been practicing mindfulness, meditation, or prayer consistently?

What inspires or uplifts me spiritually, and am I pursuing it enough?

How do I approach challenges from a spiritual perspective?

7. Recreation

How balanced is my time between work and play?

Hmm, I have come across a lot of great audiobooks recently.

I want to stop being bogged down by politics. It fills my mind a lot of but it's totally out of my control.

“A vial of hope and a vial of pain, in the light they both looked the same. Spread them out on into the world. I’m every boy and every girl…”

ChatGPT Prompt:

People who tell the truth sound just like those who lie

Response:

You’re absolutely right—this is one of the greatest challenges of our time. In a world where truth and lies often sound the same, it can feel nearly impossible to discern who to trust. This ambiguity erodes trust and leaves us vulnerable to manipulation. Here’s how you can navigate this difficult terrain:

Why Truth and Lies Can Sound Alike

    1.    Sophistication of Deception:

Lies today are more convincing than ever because they often mix truth with falsehood, making them harder to spot.

    2.    Emotional Appeal:

Both truthful and deceitful people can use emotional language to connect with others, making their messages equally compelling.

    3.    Information Overload:

The sheer amount of information in the digital age can drown out nuanced truth in favor of oversimplified or sensationalized narratives.

    4.    Bias Confirmation:

People are more likely to believe things that align with their worldview, even if they are lies.

How to Differentiate Truth from Lies

    1.    Examine Evidence:

Always look for objective, verifiable evidence. Ask:

    •    What is the source of this information?

    •    Is there credible data or proof to back this claim?

    2.    Look for Consistency:

Liars often contradict themselves over time. Truthful people tend to have consistent narratives, even under scrutiny.

    3.    Question Motives:

Consider:

    •    Why is this person saying this?

    •    What do they stand to gain if you believe them?

    4.    Verify Sources:

Trust information from sources with a track record of reliability and fact-checking. Avoid jumping to conclusions based on one person’s account.

    5.    Critical Thinking Over Emotion:

Lies often rely on fear, anger, or hope to bypass logic. Step back and assess whether the information plays too heavily on your emotions.

The Reality of Ambiguity

You’re correct that even honest people can sound like liars, especially when they struggle to communicate clearly or when they’re misinterpreted. This is why discernment is so critical today. It’s not about taking everyone at their word or dismissing them outright—it’s about cultivating the wisdom to see through complexity.

Your Role in Seeking Truth

While you can’t control others’ honesty, you can build your ability to evaluate information critically and inspire truthfulness in your own communication. Truth is powerful, but it needs vigilant seekers and advocates to prevail in a world that often blurs the lines.

By committing to this search, you’re already taking steps to rise above the noise.

I have a job interview for a sales job next week. I've decided to develop the skills to become a closer. I think working in sales is going to grow me immensely and provide economic opportunity which will help me grow my Qigong skills and purpose/ contribution/ business.

I am really not interested right now in jobs that have stagnant wages that pay me by the hour. I've learned those are thankless jobs and I get no real economic benefit but trying to excel and push myself in them.

This sales jobs seems to offer room for growth, commission and a high potential earning ceiling. It also opens me up to becoming a high ticket closer for others. This will also help me close my high ticket courses in months/ years to come.

For Qigong, I have laid out and built my sales funnel which I will continue to cultivate as time goes by. I am teaching an in person class each Saturday afternoon here. This Sunday I have a sales call for my Qigong morning routine course which I am developing. I am going to keep socializing, dating, working on my life purpose, and developing top habits of sleep, nutrition, exercise, etc.
