My Comprehensive Lipid Profile...

This is while consuming, per week, 7 lbs of red meat, 2 gallons of whole milk, 14 eggs, 1400g (measured raw/dry) of basmati rice, 3.5 oz of liver, 52 oz of 100% pomegranate juice, and 140 g of coconut oil. I suspect the slight elevation in MPO is due to my high training volume (multi-hour weight lifting sessions).

I'm curious if anyone else has had these markers assessed, because unfortunately mainstream medical doctors will merely order/assess a standard lipid panel.

Are you not afraid of the inhibition of 5ar by lauric acid? I mean because of all that coconut oil.

I'm not convinced by the in vitro data showing that. Just culturing cells in something is not the same as someone actually eating it, and from the research I've seen, coconut oil raises testosterone and DHT. I personally use it to further exaggerate/augment my saturated to polyunsaturated fat intake, which is the best kept anti-aging secret and systemic antioxidant.

My position is that vegetables are particularly overrated, and with that, fiber. That said, I do believe that some folks, due to differences in their gut microbiome, largely dictated by that of their mothers', would be behooved by a diet richer in fiber than mine.

That said, I would also assert that a lot of folks would fare far better on a lower fiber diet. I never experience indigestion, gas, bloating, etc., and have ghost poops once daily, every day. Ultimately, everyone should experiment to elucidate what works best for them, and for me, it just happens to be a near-zero fiber diet.

That's true, and frankly, precisely what I deem to be the most fascinating facet of human nutrition, i.e., not only is it arguably the most impactful aspect of what drives the human experience, in tandem with sleep, but it's the most divided in our collective understanding of it. Step 1 for me has and will always be valuing WHAT is true, as opposed to WHO is right.

At some point, we have to all just bond over the fact that we genuinely want the best experience of life for ourselves and others, and how we facilitate that may differ between individuals, and be at peace with that.

I mean, it's a great lipid panel from a metabolically very healthy, young man. What more can I say?
No signs of any genetic lipid disorders, propably a good draw of ApoE4 alleles, low cardiovascular risk across the board..

I dont really get the point of this post

Yes - in fact, every thursday after a full moon, me and the other doctors meet up and discuss how we can keep people as sick as possible, while indulging on adrenochrome Martinis and pledging allegiance to Moloch the owl-god.

@Jason Actualization Vegetables and fruits are more than fiber. They contain lots of antioxidants. And fiber is not just fiber, it is a food to gut's bacteria which makes lots of essential antioxidants, vitamins and other benefical compunds, like short chain fatty acid.

Definitely.

I prefer to get my antioxidants from pomegranate juice, and vitamin C/E supplementation, and feed my healthy gut bacteria via full-fat dairy, which also supplies me with short chain fatty acids. Some folks will be behooved by increasing their fiber intake, I just don't happen to be one of them.
