When Light meets Darkness

            When Light meets Darkness, it starts to forget its intrinsic qualities. Darkness is scary and all consuming. Naïve Light travels through life, assuming that everything and everyone around IT sees the world in the same way. Only one day the Light understands how far apart it is from the Others, because Others lost hope, lost their hearts, and lost their love. So Light walking through life, trying to adjust, mimicking other people, drowning in its own suffering from such a big ignorance.  First, it starts to inspire by calling others to follow Love, then it starts to push and pressure, then it rebels, and then it finally completely gives up. This is how slowly Darkness consumes and persuades Light that Darkness is way bigger than the Light itself. Light starts to follow Darkness and makes it authority. One day Light believes it.  Because Light does not trust its intuition and self-guidance. “I am so small”, - it thinks…. “I cannot sustain.”

           Days pass, life moves on and eventually Light becomes smaller and smaller. It is lost and forgotten of what it was. Plus, every day Darkness keeps persuading it more and more. Light is the most favorable gift the Darkness could ever desire. Darkness lives and feeds from it. It wants to possess and consume Light. It does not really care, nor Darkness knows the Love itself. But deeply inside Darkness can not portray itself without its opposite. Therefore, by consuming Light it thrives and becomes bigger. These two can not really exist without each other. Because they are One.

           When Darkness dominates Love cannot be flourished and transcended. Darkness should follow the Light but not the way around. Darkness is feminine aspect and Light is the masculine. It should enlighten (figurately speaking). When these two opposites change their polarities, tragic things happen. And the most tragic thing of all when we stop believing in love. We dwell in the nightmares and depression. Truly life becomes hell on Earth. We lose the track. We lose our lives. This is how Darkness consumes you fully.  You have this little Light inside, but you barely notice it, the flame is almost gone.

          You become a regular human being. And all you have is just a piece of memory, because once met with Divine, you will never forget nor confuse it with anything else. You feel burned out, nor you have potential or resource any longer.

          You will have a lot of regrets in your life. Years will pass and memory will slowly destroy you.  Because you won’t be able to accept this loss. It will tear you up. You will spend so many sleepless nights pondering about your purpose, and but you will never forget, forget the Divine and the Light it carries.

Eventually you’ll see how you betrayed your light by believing others. And that would be the most crucial and breaking point of your existence. And the most painful realization will be to see that time is lost, opportunities have gone, and life cannot be returned. You’ve aged but got wiser. You’ve got knowledge but lost the time.
