2024

Hello again! I haven't posted here for months, but here I am. As you can tell I've been dealing with severe health issues so all of my "personal growth" goals had to be abandoned for some time. I'm much better now, I have a diagnosis and a great doctor and I'm starting to live a somewhat "normal" life again. 2024 has been the most challenging year of my entire adult life.

Despite that I managed to achieve some of the goals I set for myself:

1. I am a very slender person now. I was 78 kgs in January, I am 59 kgs now and my BMI is 19. I lost almost 20 kgs (around 44 pounds). My diet is the healthiest it's ever been, next goal is to build some muscle.

2. I started reading regularly in October and read 9 books in 3 months. My next goal is to read every day for at least an hour.

3. I finished a 3D course in July, made some pretty cool models and sculpts. Unfortunately I stopped modelling in the summer when my health problems got serious.

My goals for 2025 are:

1. Put my IBS in remission.

2. Work on my mental health, lower neuroticism and anxiety. I already booked a session with a therapist.

3. Practice 3d regularly and start drawing/painting again.

4. Build some muscle, keep eating healthy.

5. Read every day for at least an hour.

Hi there! Last 2 weeks were pretty good, I think, since I started working on some of the goals I mentioned in my previous post. My IBS symptoms are 80-90% gone, I get an occasional flare-up here and there. I started going to therapy, although I hate therapy, hate the process (I always cry a lot on sessions) and damn it's expensive. I started doing 3D modelling again, made a game-ready apple model and sculpted too. I haven't drawn or painted anything though.

My diet is still very healthy and I'm used to it now. I eat a variety of different healthy foods- vegetables, fruits, protein, dairy. I don't really miss any of the sweets I used to crave so much in the past. My skin looks great too, very clear. I also started strength training, did my first workout, I'm taking things slowly with this.

In January I read 2 books- Leo Tolstoy's stories and Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking-Glass.

Hello again! I've had some ups and downs these past weeks. I'm still eating very healthy (damn, my skin looks so good) and I also walk a lot. I do struggle with strength training though, find it hard to discipline myself to work out.

My IBS is much better, I get occasional flare-up if I don't get enough sleep. It's a cycle-I don't get sleep-I drink too much coffee-become too anxious-don't get sleep. I find that good sleep puts me in a completely different state-physically and mentally. I'll focus more effort into fixing it.

I've been doing my 3D things too, although not as much as I intended. I also start a new course in my old CG School and I'm really excited.

I also think that there is some form of loneliness I've been experiencing. My husband has been working a lot and coming home late and I felt very lonely. I find it hard to connect with people and I isolate myself to protect my peace, but the bad side of it is that I lose friendships. I really want to put myself out there more.
