Hitler was the opposite of high educated. A homeless bum who got a purpose in life during WWI and he was the main driver. And if there was something as absolute Evil, it was the Nazis. I mean they proudly believed in their hate. Really, Germany was just mass Schizophrenia, how else is it possible to genocide about 25 million people in a span of 4 years. Is delusion and ignorance powerful? Yes. Is it shameful to the victims calling the Nazis high educated and high IQ? 100 percent. Imagine you were a Jew and a SS Soldier takes your hat and throws it to the grass stripe, knowing, when you touch it, a sniper will shoot you in the head and if you don't collect it, you'll get a beating and your brain gets mush evey morning, because you don't got your hat in the morning countings, while he tells you, that Germany is a country of high culture and deserves to humiliate you? Really, the conclusion of saying that the Nazis were High IQ and educated, is, that you are humiliating yourselves to the Nazis or you are yourself a cirklejerking Nazi, which by itself is self humiliation, as Nazis' Ideology was total Schizophrenic Inferiority Complex. It's even more psychotic than the american depict Nazis. It's so psychotic, that it is calculated. It's absolute sadistic. It's the orgy of genocide.

They invaded Russia because there was no other choice. Russia had already plans to invade Germany and it was just a matter of time. Russia already prepared for many years to invade Germany, thats what you will not learn in school because of propaganda. 

And you should not forget that Germany almost defeated russia so it was not a suicide mission.

@UnlovingGod Hitler was very well educated. He was an autodidact and read one full book per day. His private library had over 16.000 books. He studied architecture on his own in his youth.

You can educate yourself outside of academica.

Only the ability to investigate and listen carefully and with curiosity (not to act automatically) to your emotions and thoughts again and again this is what creates real intelligence and well being.

Everything else is secondary in the best case (if the books are high quality).

Your historical knowledge is not good enough to understand why they needed to invade Russia. Also german army fought  extreme good. The whole world thought Germany will win because they were so fast at the beginning and that surprised Russia.

It was for sure unclear if Germany really looses the war. But after you can easy say they should have known.. but that's bias.

@OBEler Nazism was first and foremost utterly delusion and detached from reality. That alone is not really intelligent.

The thing that makes Germans stand out is that they are efficient and hardworking and the men have masculine facial features which is considered attractive. The flipside is that Germans are kinda dry and overly logical and the women are a little masculine too. For me personally, it's clear that Jews are better at science and entertainment and that Slavic people are better looking, having more pronounced feminine or masculine energy.

(Don't take this too seriously, I am just generalizing and banter. This whole thread isn't exactly rigorous science. But I have great respect for modern Germans.)

Dude...don't become philosopical. With intelligence I mean that what we now understand with intelligence: high score in IQ-tests.

Yes there are different kinds of intelligences but please don't start a discussion about that. My statement is very clear: nazis were intelligent (high IQ).

Because Russia planned to invade Germany. Germany had little time window. When they attack first, they had the first mover advantage.

There are many more reasons why Germany had to invade first.

By the way, starting war with USA was also not a choice. Some weeks later USA would claim war on Germany anyway.
