Advice for best way to smoke 5meo dmt freebase

Hi all,

I’m using a vapor genie (full glass). It works well for dmt, but not so well for 5meo dmt. I find it difficult to get consistent results. 
i’ve tried with a simple glass pipe as well and I couldn’t get any effect from it (plus it’s horrible on the throat). Maybe I don’t put enough? Somewhere around 12 mg, using microscoops so it’s hard to know. 
any advice would be great

I use the GVG too and it works fine, however if it's burning your throat that means you're heating it too much, you need a proper technique to make it work:

-Take the ceramic pad out of the pipe then turn it face up, you want the black ceramic facing up

-Heat it for 2-3 sec so that it becomes hot but not too much then put your weighed dose up here, it will stick to the hot ceramic pad

-Put it back up on the pipe as it's supposed to be then you are ready to go

-Use a torch lighter and start with the flame touching the ceramic pad for a second then gradually moves it away,

-Don't let the flame touch the ceramic pad too much or else it will burn, majority of the time should be spent at a great distance from the pad so that it's with the right temperature, try it a couple of time and you'll get it, It's easier with a low flame though.

You gotta vaporize it, not burn it.

Buy a high quality very large butane torch. The kind used for cooking and baking.

Simple glass pipe works perfectly.

HCl will burn more than vaporize. Freebase is easy.

Best way I've found is a Vape Pen. Very simple to craft. There's a few guides on how to do it online.

I tried with a ecplise vape kit. 
i put around 15mg

With a torch. I think I burnt it, it became like a brown liquid I kept heating it, hoping to see a white smoke, but it mostly caramelized. Then I took a long slow inhale of it, and kept it in for like 40 sec. 
it definitely took me to heavy breathing levels, and feeling very emotional, but it felt like a mini mini dose of buffo if I had to compare. So… I guess I’m still doing it wrong?

@Raf sounds like HCL not freebase to me

You want to vape the freebase 

It should mostly vapourize cleanly and smell sweet.

kinda… the mystery is solved: it was what they call Fumarate. So I assume similar to CHL? But def not freebase, which would explain why my results have been so variable and frustrating.

Next time, simply make sure it’s freebase. Is there an easy way to turn HCL into freebase? Idk

One can convert from salt to freebase by heating it with sodium carbonate (NOT sodium BICARBONATE) and a small amount of water.

I mean, possibly both will work, it's just that carbonate is stronger.

How to freebase: dissolve in water, add base like sodium carbonate, filter on a coffee filter. Done.

There's really no philosophy here, with 5-MeO-DMT it should be powdery/paste/oil. You can take a razor blade and jab jab this paste so it dries faster, if it's not immediately dry. Or maybe even store it next to bags with desiccant in a small box, so it gets really dry. After a while it should be powdery.

I only tried once and it was nowhere close to working.

It kinda works, but oral does not work very well

 

Can be good for microdosing, most convenient way I guess
