Help me to find a reason to buy a new Smartphone

36 posts in this topic

I think I will buy it. It does not make sense not to buy it.

If I switch every 4 year to a new one and live 40 more years I will buy 10 more Smartphones in my life. Thats affortable. So I spend 10k for my whole life on best Smartphones.

10k is nothing really. Dont know for what 10k is invested better than an Smartphone what I use every 5 minutes

By the way I think Smartphones will be more and more replaced in the future through smart glasses

@An young being thanks for the answer, good to know that there is not really a Revolution happening with a new Smartphone.

I always asked me whats special now compared to 4 years ago?

No real Innovation, what about eye tracking etc..

You don't have to be so hard on yourself, especially when you have fewer alternatives. Even moving your hand to the left instead of right could kill a bunch of people.

I bought this smartphone for 759 Euro.

Main reason: I use my Phone every Day. Therefore faster, better Display will sum up.

Also there are new features I dont know about but I will discover. If anyone here has discovered some good practical Feature on newest flagShip Smartphone please share

Today's phones are ugly as most of them have holes in the display. It's like buying a monitor with 100 dead pixels.

I bough some Sony years ago because there are no holes in the display lol.

Ha ha! But I think there's a way to hide the hole. It's hidden somewhere in the Android settings, I believe. You would lose a bit screen space though.

@OBEler Seems like a waste of money if you don't need it. Think about the other things you can buy. A nice surround sound system for movies and music for example. If your housing allows for loud sounds that is.

Or, you could buy a 20 gallon aquarium with 20 fish, plants and fish food, etc. and have a new hobby!

Sounds cool! As long as you have time to feed the fish.

You can feed every other day. Takes no time at all.

Or you can use an automatic feeder. But now it has become less cool.

Why not try a guided meditation app like insight timer or headspace? It has hundreds of thousands of cool meditative music and guided meditations, and you can pay a small fee to get all the features and support the community.
