Religious clerics in iraq pimping out young vulnerable girls under the name of religion in these „pleasure marriages“ for a certain amount of time could be hours, days, weeks or months

they say 9, 10, 11, 12 years old etc is ok under these islamic religious rules

often these girls/womens lives are destroyed in the process

sad stuff

Shit goes in Thailand too and Thailand is a  "Buddhist" nation.  Its easy to associate sins with religion without knowing context and looking at the sin separate to spirituality.

Christianity is the dominate religion in America, are Christians responsible for all of the sins the country has done around the world?

India is primarily Hindu and women just don't walk out at night for their own safety, are Hindu's rapist?

Religion is just another way for a group of people to try to gain power over others. The vast majority of our species just want to be left alone, but are insecure and impressionable, looking for a group to "fit in" with... that's all it takes for those who are strong, or desire power, to gain a foothold. They can then create rules which the leadership gets to break, because that's human nature... a way to flaunt one's status and exercise one's evolutionary drives.. and yes the drive to procreate with girls right as they hit puberty is wired into our genetic makeup, while being culturally suppressed.

We can all agree trafficking of individuals is wrong, as is slavery, murder, rape, etc... but from the laws of natural selection, these things are just par for the course. In most animal species these things are a regular occurrence. Do we force the Lion to stop killing the Gazelle and make it vegan?  So what is morality? A human construct? Regardless, free your mind from what you think... question everything. Don't let yourself be put into a box, defined by society. The whole point of spiritual enlightenment is to see the silliness in the entire game, taking it all so seriously. Should we try to make the game more fair, compassionate, moral?  I suppose we should. :)  Just be careful with "righteous causes" and developing too big a "spiritual ego" in your pursuits of what you think is "right" and how you think society "should" be.

That said, if you want behavior changes, you need to provide negative stimuli to what you perceive to be "bad behavior" to discourage future incidents which in the case of child traffickers, would be execution, in my opinion. Sound cruel? Those are the laws of nature. You want real change? Tough love.
