whats ur main argument against psych/spiritual experiences being all in the head?

6 posts in this topic

title pretty much sums it up. personally ive experienced a telepathic form of communication. My mate was standing with his back turned on me, I focused my energy on him, he turned around and looked at me, and we connected to the collective consciousness together. This was his first trip ever, and literally the second after he was able to explain the experience of the collective consciousness to the point, and we had excactly the same perception of what happened.

im not even close to articulating what happened excactly, but me and my mate knows for a 100% fact that we connected through something energetic/non-physical, with roughly 2 meters of distance between us.

This shared connection is here, there, and everywhere between us even without psychedelics; it is the intellect that denies it's there in spinning up its narrative of what's happening, dividing the world into many concepts and categories.

But it can also be understood that there is a Unified Field of energy that comprises and animates my body, yours, and everybody everywhere such that it can be seen that there is One Body, One Being.

When individual entities are open to this perception, the ego ceases to reinforce the experience of separation between you and the beloved.

You radiate the realization of Oneness; You radiate Love, for We Are Love.

Gaze into the eyes of another.

Love recognizes Love.

People experience that same things without taking them. You cant win an argument with someone who's mind is closed as they will always revert back to hallucination as a defense. Even if you did it naturally you would get the same argument. They are sleeping and don't want to be awoken or its too mind fucky for them to begin to open up too.

There is no need for an argument. Materialist are actually the ones that have to offer proof that those experiences happen in the brain, which of course, they never will.

Many spiritual experiences indeed happen in the head, and follow all physical laws in addition to some Spiritual laws, atleast if you believe that the head exists. You can be tricked in infinite ways by the universe and on an absolute level, it can never be proved or disproved and it doesn't matter. What matters is how you transform because of these experiences. But the one exception to Spiritual experiences not happening with the head is the oneness or ego dissolution. Scientifically, it is observed to happen when brain functions come down, so it can be considered as something more real than the logical world. Our soul also believes it to be something closer to truth when the experience happens.

No argument will convince a skeptic based on the materialist view. There will come a moment when you will open yourself to a broader spectrum of existence and deconstruct your doubts yourself.
