Well, nothing really changed for me. The confidence boost others are talking about are just an illusion.

I have stopped fapping mostly because of my health issues.

Having a clear understanding of your intentions here is vital. Make a distinction between enjoying porn because you love porn for what it is vs. perpetuating a fantasy, despite you actually longing for an intimate relationship.

In other words, by perpetuating a fantasy, you’re using porn as an escape, or denying yourself the opportunity to create an intimate relationship because you’re afraid it.

Porn is an unnatural bombardment of the dopamine receptors no matter what your intention is. I do not believe there is any form of porn consumption that is healthy or net positive for brain chemistry and wiring.
