Posted April 2, 2017 (edited) I'm working on making some personal development study guides for myself. It will probably be a few months or so before my first project is finished. I just wanted to see if that's something you all would be interested in. My current format is summarizing one of Leo's videos, translating it into my own thoughts, commenting and expanding on certain things, and then compiling additional resources to make it more comprehensive. I'll also link certain posts to one another when I think there are connections that can be drawn between different sources. I'm trying to make a really comprehensive study of a lot of the personal development theory out there and making a meta-source of my own. I'll probably post it at the forum at some point regardless, but I wanted to see if any of you had other ideas, just in case someone has something I haven't considered. Posted April 3, 2017 @username that's a huge contribution, thanks for that! How are you gonna sort out the topics? Will you choose the ones which are interesting to you or do you have something else in your mind? I might say categorizing levels would be great, like in a collage, maybe like: For the very beginners: setting the foundation work & installing the fundamental habits Layering Spirituality & enlightenment Layering the topics on Mundane necessities .....or.... Categorising them from very concrete to abstract can be a good guidance too.. I don't know, I'm gonna think about it little bit more, now I've just written it as it came.. Posted April 3, 2017 @Annetta I'll definitely do it. It will probably be like a year before I start posting it though. I want to finish the whole thing before I'm sharing. Right now I've got like 30 pages of material and I'm maybe 1% of the way through. I think I'll make a series of posts then make one post to categorize everything. Posted June 20, 2019 Hi people! I know, this thread is about 3-years old, but when it comes to writing guidelines, I am always interested to help people with it! As I can see at the first post, a thread author had been writing something like evaluation essay as it dealt with summarizing information, translating it into his own thoughts, commenting and expanding on certain things. So I'd like to share this guide with you all, in case you'll need to write such paper in college or university: https://pro-papers.com/blog/how-to-write-an-evaluation-essay
