Now I can sum this up very easily....the Jedi were full of bullshit. The Jedi CLAIMED they weren't attached...but they were!!! Attachment is a desire to be a certain way...the Jedi desired to pretend they weren't attached, but when they discovered that Anakin wanted to save his mother they tried to persuade him to let her die instead of helping him free her from slavery.

If they truly cared for Anakin they would HELP him achieve his goals, they would empower him through training and direction and then allow him to burn through his karma. Instead they tried to control him and TURN him into one of them. Thus proving they themselves were attached. The Jedi's fear of being involved, yet trying to defend and use force (LITERALLY CALLED THE FORCE) while claiming detachment is one of the biggest bullshit conartistry of all time. The moment you use force against anything you are attached!!! So the Jedi fed themselves this bullshit and that is why they suffered.

The Jedi brought out the evil in Anakin through denying their own evil. Attachment is the source of all conflict, and how can the Jedi claim to not be attached....when their whole training is centered around using "force." So funny!!! The dark side and the so called light side are two parts of the same running around denying that they are both doing the same thing just a different way. If anything...you could argue....the dark side in Star Wars...was more honest. They didn't claim to not be attached, they admitted it.
