How to deal with a superiority complex of another

I have trouble with this one. My reflex is to think “who does this shit think he/she is for thinking they are superior, in fact I’m superior!” Which makes me the devil that I hate. 

Usually it is bitchy women who have this attitude of superiority just because they are in their prime and have a cu**. 

I mean I get it I would feel superior too. In fact I think I’m more developed than most people at SD yellow but I don’t think I’m superior. Being more developed doesn’t mean superior.  But these people who no virtue to show up with other than what god and L’loreal gave them. 

I think it is for every guy a process to stop putting these bitchy women on a pedestal and give them the treatment they are worth. If you are nice people take your niceness for granted. In fact you should be a dick and people should earn your niceness. In that way they will appreciate something they earned. 

I think this is a problem for a lot of spiritual people who are just being  nice. You shouldn’t be nice. In fact not being nice is nice from higher LOC but you need a higher conscious to understand that.

1. Become aware of the disturbed emotions and thoughts surrounding it. 

2. Notice the mind's effort to defend the position as being superior

3. Consciously relinquish all effort to defend yourself and your position. 

4. Breathe. And allow. 

5 Breathe. And allow. 

6. Breathe. And allow everything that is in your experience at that moment.

This process will make subtle corrections on a deep levels of the mind and can feel like a release of deep ancient pain. But it's good. It's part of the spiritual process of going beyond the ego.

I feel like if you’re bothered by someone seemingly thinking highly of themselves it might be that you yourself have qualities about yourself that you feel are great but you’re not “owning” /embodying it and expressing outwardly so it’s an insecurity in you

Good point. I need to be mindfulness of defensiveness. I have a lot of that. But I think it is also good to defend yourself but it should be a conscious process.

Perhaps the trigger is not niceness or its lack, but fakeness.

If someone's nice and it's their authentic expression - no problem with that.

If someone's not nice and it's their authentic expression - no problem either. It's even not registered as 'not nice'. I see it as a quirk, and a very attractive one. (Take Peter Ralston.)

What I think is problematic is when someone acts out a behaviour that is not authentic to them and sticks to it because they think it will get them something.

Sure you met 'asshole' gurus who put on the whole act of assholeness just to prove to you how beyond niceness they are.

Those whores will get their moneys worth. The thing is the less respect you show them the more they will like you. One shouldn’t see life as a serious thing but as a game. Just have fun while playing it but the only way to have fun is by learning how the game works. Don’t listen to other people, learn through direct exp.
