Mysticism today is perhaps more widespread than ever thanks to psychedelics. but maybe less because the way humans are in the world today is very different from how it was. Now the human is not in the world directly, everything is indirect, no human today is free, he is not in direct contact with life and death, he lives and dies indirectly, absorbed by the mind of the collective ego. God have been changed by the other humans.
