After that then understand there is a famous phrase....everyone is your mirror. What is this saying? This is pointing to the fact that everyone is YOU. Now the reason it is so hard to deal with people who are different than you is because you are selfish. Selfish just means you are attached to a way of being, of self-expression. That is why the more similar two people think the closer they are to each other. 

But this presents a problem....the problem is that you are GOD!!! But your ego wants the world to be YOU! So if everyone thinks and acts like you....then you will be all ALONE. So the world MUST have a variety of people so you don't feel alone....but this also creates a problem. Because when you are stuck in your own perspective (asleep) it will be impossible for you to accept people who act different.

As a result if someone wanted to befriend you, all they have to do is act like you...and only be different in small ways. When this person does this you will fall in love with this person....but that is only because you are really falling in love with yourself!!! Since you define yourself as a human and you love yourself as a human anybody that acts almost identical will be your BEST FRIEND FOREVER!!! LOL.

But the problem is...eventually that will get boring...because it's like you are talking to yourself in the bathroom mirror. So eventually you will seek to find other people who are little more different than your friend, just to get some new experiences. But this other people will piss you off and confuse you because from your perspective it doesn't make sense!!!

So this is the game God is playing with itself, seeking those that are the same, while trying to grow their ability to connect with those that express themselves differently. All conflict comes from differentiation, but all creativity and originality comes from differentiation as well. The more selfish you are the more you enjoy an echo chamber and the less selfish you are the more you are okay with criticism, conflict, and different self-expression.

Because if I identify with my ego self, then only the people who behave in the confines of what my ego accepts as similar to itself will seem friendly and attractive. 

But if I identify with nothing, which is also everything, then I find everything equally friendly and attractive.

This is both true and untrue...the ego never dissolves...so the ego is going to have its say. The key is to not let the ego draw you into its drama...but the ego is very convincing. Remember the more evolved your ego...the more sensible it is. The hardest ego to overcome is the Spiritual Ego. To really drive home the point of how powerful the ego is....the ego...is perspective.

So whatever perspective you have about life...is ego. So to put this in perspective...all 4,948 posts I have made...are ego. At a certain state of consciousness I discovered that all my knowledge...was just arrogance. Why? Because it is incomplete, finite, limited, not all encompassing which would be INFINITE. So how can someone pretend to know anything when they don't have ALL THE KNOWLEDGE?

So no matter how smart I am....all perspectives, stances I take will always be arrogant because it is not infinite. So as a result the ego is ALWAYS ARROGANT...LOL. Isn't that funny?

The ego (or the perspective we have) is committed to believing itself as true all the time. This has caused me so much suffering, until I realised that the clinginess of the ego is merely creating my suffering. Arrogance is a sin for a reason. 
 

Do you know in Islam they say satan was an angel and it was arrogance that led him to become what he became. Arrogance is the most iconic, satanic characteristic according to Islam.

Arrogance is beautiful. Without arrogance...there is no Hero's Journey. If you know everything there is nothing to discover. Without arrogance you get lost in conformity, group think, and never discover your unique individuality. So the absence of arrogance turns you into a drone, a robot, it robs you of your humanity.

Definition of arrogance: Arrogance is a type of pride that comes from believing that you are better, smarter, or more important than other people. 

Okay so if your parents tell you are wrong...the only way you can disagree with them.. is to believe you KNOW BETTER.

Think about it? All arrogance is resistance against established norms and authority figures. This is why every society demonizes arrogance because they WANT YOU to CONFORM. You have not sufficiently questioned arrogance, you just assume its bad because that is what you have been told.

No you are equating that. What is exaggerated? Who determines what is exaggerated? That is what you don't understand. If you give up your authority then whenever you disagree with an existing authority they will accuse you of being arrogant because you assume you are better or know better.

If you tell a rocket scientist that you know something he doesn't he will ask you for your credentials. Let's say you discovered something but you did it outside of society's established academia. They will call you arrogant and tell you that you have an exaggerated sense of importance because you did not follow their established protocol.

I can tell by your understanding of what arrogance is you are not a deep student of history, and how advancements in knowledge works. You don't understand how empires rise and fall and how conflict ensues.

When the American Colonists declared their independence they were seen as arrogant. Because they were rebelling against the crown. They declared themselves sovereign which in the eyes of the Crown, the British Empire is arrogance. They will say WHO ARE YOU to question the CROWN? Now because they won the Revolutionary War....they proved they were right. But had they lost the reply would be...bow before your betters, did you fools actually believe you could resist the Crown?

This is how hierarchy and authority systems are founded and anyone who rebels is arrogant. You do not understand the importance of arrogance because you have a bias against arrogance. Which is itself arrogance LOL. Everything God has created is GOOD and serves a particular purpose and function. If you keep this up you will remain ignorant. 

The only difference between Confidence and Arrogance is Confidence has knowledge of its limits, where Arrogance does not. As such...if you dare to dream to accomplish something that hasn't been done before...people will accuse you of being arrogant.

In competitive environments arrogance is what gives you the power to dominate and subjugate those around you.

Go read about MJ...he was one of the most arrogant assholes around...and it allowed him to intimidate the competition. You can only learn the value of arrogance in competition. For example Trash-Talking is arrogance but it gives you a competitive edge in psychologically manipulating your opponent and robbing them of confidence.

I'll say it again. If you lead a revolution against an existing authority they will call you arrogant. 

War is competition. All conflict between two forces is competition. If you actually did any research into the nature of power, the majority of people in power are arrogant. Do you think this is by accident? 

If you talk to any Pro Athlete they have feelings of superiority over their opponent. They believe they are BETTER than them. The problem is you have a BIAS against arrogance because you are ARROGANT and think you know better than Infinite Intelligence. Those that were deemed arrogant in their time and succeeded history sees them as confident, and those that were deemed arrogant in their time and failed are seen as arrogant losers who were out of control. Arrogance and confidence are contextual, many times to even find out your limits, you have to TEST THEM. You are only arrogant if you miscalculated your limits...but again HOW CAN YOU KNOW THEM IF YOU DON'T TEST THEM.

This is why I don't like talking to young people who haven't lived long enough. Your bias blinds you.
