@jdc7733 It sounds like you need some anti-psychotic medication to ground your mind. Please visit a good psychiatrist.

@Leo Gura I’ve tried olanzapine, risperidone, amisulpride, flupentixol and aripiprazole. I’ve also tried CBT. I can’t tell if you’re just trying to sound like me when I used to just tell everyone who said things weren’t real “no because science”, I’m paraphrasing, and like used to believe in the medical community.

There are valid parts to the medical community, and some invalid parts. This requires nuance.

Obviously if some of those don't work for you, then they don't work for you. But also maybe something will work for you. It can take a lot of troubleshooting to find something that will work.

My mom has been prescribed olanzapine (Zyprexa) risperidone and Quetiapine.... And I'm currently on aripiprazole. It works well for me.

I was on zoloft before.

Sometimes they work. I don't have schizophrenia but I have paranoia related symptoms..

My mom was also prescribed Mirtazapine recently. (if you have sleep issues, it seems to help).

I have nothing of much value to add.

Just wanted to say that there's a great game of which the main character is a psychotic women travelling through the nordic hell, called Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

Really great artistic experience and kind of makes the player understand how a psychotic mind works, a little bit, can improve someone's empathy on that topic I think.

if you have an addiction and the people around you are triggering it, the best thing you can do is pack your shit and leave.

that's not the practical answer, but it's the best answer

I could understand everything he wrote. It seems like a form of psychosis. I've experienced similar things back in my weed days where things take on more meanings than one or the opposite meaning of what is discretely stated. The mind becomes so associative and fluid that normal interactions become not so normal.

You can ground that state and make sense of it if you play around with paradox, the only issue is you'll be in a constant high energy state and that can become taxing on your system. But yeah weed definitely opens up your ability to see things from multiple perspectives.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

Having empathy and understanding for people with mental health conditions goes a long way. Drugs should be used responsibly, whether or not you have mental illness or not.
