I haven’t really read all of the new testament, i tried one time but the old timey phrasing makes it a quite hard boring read imo

 

but he did proclaim he was god and taught love

in that sense was he closer to the truth than other prophets of the abrahamic faiths like moses, mohammed etc? Because i don’t think moses, mohammed etc proclaimed they were god and also were more violent

My opinion is that Jesus was as enlightened as Eckhart Tolle, Sadguru, Leo, Buddha, Ramana Maharishi, and maybe even @PurpleTree (they all say the same thing.)

And the rest of Christianity is just fabricated wishful thinking and delusion. Think of the scale of self deception that Christianity and all religions have reached! It's utterly mind blowing how billions of adults in 2023 can be convinced that an ancient magic Jew is needed to save you from going to hell!

The major problem with all religions is that they consist of written texts that may not be printed exactly in the way they meant initially. It's similiar to Chinese whispering. Atleast in that game, people were innocently playing it. But, spiritual texts are passed on for generations and powerful people might wish to alter it to suit their needs without any records. Just my opinion, though. This is all considering the ones who wrote it were Gods or enlightened or pure hearted.

Mohammad was a tribal political leader in addition to a mystic.

Mohammad was not really Awakened, he was a mystical channeler, which is different.

I have met very mystically gifted spritual people but they were not Awake. Don't confuse the two.

We were indoctrinated into living through a screen. Through cartoons pornography video games soap opera bullshit. The internet is a massive distraction from God.

native americans used peyote/mescaline for at least 6000 yrs (the oldest known psychedelic this far)

greeks probably used ergot (from which lsd was synthezised)

You can easily find channelers and clarivoyant healers and so on. These people have some kind of altered state of consciousness from birth, they tend to be very spiritually intuitive and gifted, but they are not conscious that they are God.

These are people like Teal Swan. They relate to God as other, as a higher power. They can have legit spiritual insight, wisdom, and paranormal powers, but none of that is God-Realization.

Muhammad was a gifted, intuitive channeler. He was not like Ramana Maharshi. Frankly, Jesus too was probably more like Muhammad than Ramana Maharshi.

Of course we will never know for sure, these are just best guesses. Don't get hung up on this.

As I said, some people are born with mystical abilities and states of consciousness. There are thousands of such people around the world.
