It doesn't work well if your mind is full of trauma & resistances. This is usually what causes " bad trip ".

It’s a fantasy to want all your trips to go smoothly. Difficult trips are necessary for healing, much like you cannot have peace without having gone through conflict.

I never claimed Israel is so kind. The one state solution is an unrealistic utopian concept which will never happen. The fact is that Israel was formed as a colonial Jewish state with the intention of being a safe haven for Jews after centuries of persecution in both Europe and the Arab-Muslim world. Whether you agree with the premise or not, the nation of Israel isn't going to self destruct by forming a one state solution.

To make matters worse, it would be almost impossible to integrate both people's effectively in the short term. The Palestinians do not want a one state solution either. Both sides hate each other.

But the reality is they already live together anywhere lol, do you not see the ludcrusnouss of it all?

IT isnt a Utapian dream its literally reality, its just there own ignorance and deceoption lol

Also many Palestinians from around the world would want to go back to the state. Lots and lots of people.

What are you even saying? If it was literal reality that they are already living together the problem would have already been solved. Mainland Israel is a majority Jewish state with many peaceful Muslim minority groups living within, but that is not the same as a radicalized Gazan population who has been raised under Hamas rule their entire lives.

Conflict = destruction = opportunity = shiva

WW2 was the biggest war ever, also the war that brought the longest peace unknown to humankind.

Quote

Today, in the ashes of the worst anti-Jewish violence since the Holocaust, some analysts have admitted their error of sanitizing Hamas. “It’s a huge mistake that I did, believing that a terror organization can change its DNA,” the former Netanyahu national-security adviser Yaakov Amidror told The New York Times. Others on the left have clung to their tortured conception of Hamas as a rational resistance group, despite it having been falsified by events. Perhaps some fear that acknowledging the true nature of Hamas would undermine the struggle for Palestinian self-determination. But in actuality, it is the refusal to disentangle Hamas’s anti-Jewish sadism from the legitimate cause of Palestinian nationalism that threatens the project and saps its support.

Good article.

Is it possible Hamas fires rockets from a hospital?

Someone here said that IDF can’t worry about killing civilians if they want to take out Hamas, because Hamas militants are mixed up with civilians.

So, it's not being denied that civilians are killed. It’s being justified.

probably. Hamas plays with Israel as if it were a puppet. They are doing exactly what Hamas want. If they intend to scare Hamas with violence, it is impossible, since this is their objective, the more deaths the better, more radicalization,  more evident Israeli evilness in front of the world.  I bet they will free the hostages at some point and they will say: they treated us politely, they just want the freedom of Palestine. The guy organizing all this seems like a smart demon.

@Leo Gura Possible. But you drop commandos to go in and neutralize the enemy instead of bombardment. Much better. Even for Israelites

Seems like hamas systematically used hospitals for military infrastructure

I think Israel's policy at this point is to drop a bomb on anywhere they see a rocket fired from.

I wish Israel was more transparent on why they bomb certain places. It's impossible to tell if they are actually hitting Hamas or just random buildings. How do they choose where to bomb?

It's better for Israelis to drop their loved ones into a dense urban warzone with Hamas rather than clear the area?

@hundreth Their highly skilled, trained, and lethal combat professionals with top-of-the-line equipment.

Get in, get the job done, get out.

But they are literally just raging right now.

I mean it’s a battle between the IDF and Hamas, right? No point killing the civilians and gathering hate across the globe.

@Leo Gura nothing was mentioned regarding Israel firing back at a rocket.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/egypt-blames-israel-for-blast-at-gaza-city-hospital/

Egypt’s foreign ministry strongly condemns the incident and says that Cairo considers this “deliberate bombing of civilians to be a serious violation of international, humanitarian law and of the most basic values of humanity.”

The IDF says it is still investigating whether its forces were responsible for the strike, or whether it was the result of a failed rocket launch or other cause.

Also, using this logic, if it's okay for IDF to kill thousands of children to fight Hamas, why isn't it okay for Hamas to kill children to fight occupation ?

Israel's objective isn't to kill children. The objective is to remove Hamas and their infrastructure. They drop leaflets and instruct civilians to leave the area. There's legitimate discussion to be had about whether civilians have enough time, etc. but trying to claim moral equivalence with Hamas whose objective it is to kill civilians and children in cold blood is ridiculous.
