The trick is a trick, but, even that’s a trick.

So, I think life is trying to trick me into thinking bad things will happen but that’s a trick and that’s a trick, but, what’s the trick? I’m at a point where I feel calm because I think it’s an ultimately good trick but then I think that’s a trick but that thinking that it’s a trick, is a trick.

@jdc7733 tuku means allow uncomfortable sensations to be there (e.g. a foul smell) with openness and acceptance.

Pest control actually came over to spray inside our house an hour ago. It reeks of chemical odor, but instead of running away from it, I’m allowing the discomfort to simply be there. (I also put the fans on… I’m not that reckless!)

@Yimpa you don’t have to be in pain to want to make sense of things.

@jdc7733 My therapist once taught me that there are no rules surrounding feelings.

It’s a radical lesson if you’re open to contemplating the significance of what that is pointing to.

If you cannot see that Pain = Love, then contemplate.

Let’s keep contemplating.

@Yimpa I see what you’re trying to say, I’m just trying to work out how it’s relevant.

Just stop thinking.  You are thinking too much and will go insane

@Yimpa oh, yeah, I didn’t think about the part where I said I thought something bad would happen. So, you’re saying what you’re saying because I should just accept everything, including bad things happening.

@jdc7733 “Bad things will happen” are narratives that you’re spinning in your fantasies without ever challenging them. That requires getting out of your comfort zone.

Are you willing to accept this challenge?

You are identifying with the mind. Be the observer. That's your true nature. See those thoughts for what they are. You are the space from which thoughts appear. The silent witness.

@Princess Arabia I don’t know if I can be liberated from an egoic standpoint, intentionally. Attachment just kinda happens.
