I Have Failed ..what Is The Next Step ?

I have been rejected from summer research scholarship program .. I am very deppresed cause I have prepared everything ..it was very hardwork I have done to be accepted .. Is there any recommendations about what I can listen from Leo's videos or things I can do or steps I can go through ? 

Actually I gained experience from this .. But I still feel failure .I am not sure that I can make better than I have made to be accepted ..

@Nana_Kh There is always room for improvement and chances to be better and do better. For example, I remember in a martial arts class, I couldn't keep up with everyone else because I was so unfit and everyday I would still show up and give it my all, even though I wasn't as fast and string like everyone else in the class, and when it came to the test at the end of the month, I failed and cried all weekend because I was the only one who didn't get to move to the next level in my class. 

Does this mean I am a failure? I gave it my best and tried my hardest. Although I was behind everyone else and after throwing myself a pity party, I decided to do extra training to build strength so I would not fail another class, and I passed. Determination and perseverance got me through the difficult time. I love martial arts and I wasn't ready to give it up or give up on myself because I knew the possibilities for me are endless and I needed to get in the right mindset in order to achieve anything going forward. 

You need to make a plan on things you can do to be better and prepared for next time, did you get given any feedback? maybe think outside the box this time, maybe go that extra mile to what they are looking for? You can get all the advice in the world, but execution is key. Your not a failure unless you give up trying.

Failure is a necessary step in any worthwhile endeavor.
Keep trying, keep failing, and suddenly some day soon you will realize your success.

I wasn't too serious when posting this, it was more like a joke. But anyway I did watched this video for a past failure, and I still learned something, even if the video isn't meant to that.

I think Mia's advice is gold.
