African black soap gave me headaches when I used it, only 3-4 ingredients, you smell like grass + it makes your skin very dry, when I used it at least.

I still haven't used Dr. Bronners but I heard it's natural.

First time trying this. I did this morning and it made my mouth feel really fresh.

Stay away from poisons like Colgate and crest.

Don't believe me. Read the fine print. Colgate says call poison control if swallowed. Really, Toothpaste.

This one is black and has activated charcoal. Not too shabby. Stay away from listerine, too. Windshield wiper fluid.

My oil cleanse this time around. Jojoba oil locks in moisture. Coconut oil is good for cleansing.

Raw Shea Butter from the African store. I use this all over my body sometimes. Keeps me warm in the cold weather too. My go to with this is to use as chapstick.

Stay away from those conventional lip balms like chapstick. It keeps you needing it all the time because it dries out your lips. Toxic too.

@Princess Arabia Cool soap, I enjoy handmade soaps myself or, the natural ones

Yeah, I melt it down in warm water on the stove to a liquid and put in bottles. I use it on dishes and laundry too. Even to wash my face sometimes.

$2. Can't beat that. Walmart.

I eat the gel straight from the skin. Put in jug with drinking water. Leave in fridge overnight and drink the water (scoop out the gel).

Put on hair and skin. Put in smoothies. (A bit bitter but I don't mind, that's good for liver detox). Lots of vitamins and minerals.

Great for constipation and diarrhea.

I put the skin in my facial steam bath. Just put it on the stove with water and whatever else like orange peel, rosemary, tea leaves.

Seriously 3 ingredients.

Eggs, banana and rolled oats. That's it.

To blender add 2 eggs, 1 banana and half cup old fashion oats. Can add cinnamon. Blend and make pancakes. For syrup melt coconut oil and honey in pot and drizzle over.

I put a few Sliced bananas on top while making the cakes.

Can substitute almond or chick pea flour for the oats.

For crepes omit the oats and flour and just blend the eggs and banana. Real thin but thats what crepes are. Fill with strawberries.

I stopped making banana pancakes because it was too difficult to cook unless I added more fat to the pan.

No, you smell like grass. Doesn't dry my skin. Lots of knock offs out there. I buy from the African store. Stay away from the bar soap that is pitch black. It says black soap and is black but it's not real black soap. The real black soap isn't black and is made from plantain leaves.

It's real easy. Just make sure to add oats or flour to thicken the batter a bit, but not too much so it gets too hard.

I use coconut or olive oil to cook.

It's one thing to eat bad food, I sometimes do too; but it's another to be proud of it. I don't even know what white wheat is. Is that heart clogging white flour and glutenous arteries poison. 😜😜😜😜

Ok. Still I don't smell like grass. Maybe you need to ditch the weed. 😜

Make your own salad dressings. It's very easy and simple. Oil and vinegar, shake, done. Now just add variants before shaking. This one is an Apple Cider Vinegarette.

To Mason Jar, add one part Apple Cider Vinegar to 3 parts EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). S&P, dash garlic powder, Italian Seasoning (optional) and here's the trick - grate an apple and squeeze the juice in.

Shake and pour over your favorite salad.

This one is Romaine, chopped apples, chopped pineapple, sliced avocado and sliced white onions.

First time trying this brand Kombucha. Pretty darn good. Ditch the soda and try kombucha instead. Takes some getting used to. GT is my favorite brand but I like to explore.

I've been drinking kombucha for years and except for water and an occasional fruit juice bottled by knudsen brand, I buy nothing else to drink, not even coconut water. I buy the coconut and drink the water straight from the coconut. Unless I come across a brand that has nothing else in it other than coconut water, I stay away especially Vita Coco. I think Pepsi owns it but don't quote me on that.

My apple/banana cakes. Simple. 3 ingredients.

Banana, apple, rolled oats. Cinnamon for an added touch.

Smash 1 ripe banana, add rolled oats (ground or whole or both), add chopped apples and dash of cinnamon. Blend together with a fork and fry in coconut or olive oil. Separate into pieces for frying. Yum, yum. Drizzle with melted coconut oil and raw honey if desired. (That's my pancake syrup, great with lime or lemon zest and a dash of the juice)..I'll make someday and post.
