Do certain species have a unique intelligence?

Do certain species have a unique intelligence that can't be replicated by other species even if they are way more advanced? Humans the bullshitting animal might be so good at bullshitting that certain inventions only come from humans. With all the alien stuff right now I wondered that if alien existed on planet earth if that's what they are after. They might be way more evolved but our bullshitting behavior might be worth the study because its no unique it gives unique knowledge. Just like we study animal and plant behavior and learn from it even though we are more evolved.

I think the octopus possesses a unique form of intelligence. 

Think about it. In order to test supra normal levels and kinds of intelligence, we'll need that form of intelligence ourselves.

   I agree, while there could be overlap, I do think intelligence in unique species is hard to replicate and intgrate into human beings. Yes the octopus has intelligence, but human beings understanding that and making sense of that intelligence experientially is nearly impossible.
