Covid Protein Vaccine in USA - Novavax

The updated XBB protein vaccine by Novavax was approved yesterday as a booster for people 12 and above regardless of previous covid vaccination history.

No unknown side effects compared to mRNA vaccines. 
I myself got 3 shots of the novavax wuhan strain vaccineand didn't have even mild side effects
like injection site pain, fever or fatigue.

I am perfectly fine I have not contracted covid ever since.

Its the shame the government didnt expedite this one over the Pfizer which was more experimental, hmmm I wonder why

This vaccine was slow walked by the FDA , they did everthing possible to promote the mRNA vaccines even though they have the same efficacy and potentially higher risk profile (With some indications that the protein vaccine has lesser waning effect).

To be honest all the research I've done suggest that the MRNA vaccines have the least amount of side effects even compared to the novavax. I still think there's a lot of anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists permeating the internet spreading their misinformation around... and that's fine. I don't believe in censorship for any reason because it's a slippery slope towards tyranny.

I don't personally know of anybody who got the vaccine who has suffered any long-term side effects from them. Given my tendency to be a science geek I'd rather get some inflammation from the vaccine than  get inflammation from a virus itself. I don't like being sick but I was Pro vaccine well before covid came around.

There's also a certain level of cognitive dissonance among Trump supporters who are anti-vaccine even though Trump himself tried to claim the vaccines were his and totally safe and that you should be taking them.  Trump's initial order was called operation Warp speed. No, he didn't mandate them and yes, the left was wrong for trying to mandate them. The whole conspiracy theory movement started because of the mandates in my opinion.

@sholomar hmm I'm not aware of that, do you have sources for those findings on the Novax.  I personally didn't like they expedited only J and J and Pfizer.  

The mandates were designed to divide people and it worked.
