I'm meditating more and more and using less psychedelics, but reading your description of enlightenment, I would never have aimed for something like that, I don't think that's my path but who knows. my compulsion is to openness, to break barriers, to life. maybe it's the same? Anyway, I prefer not to have ideas in mind, no stages or enlightenments, one barrier at a time, one step each day. There is no goal for me to reach, there is shit that bothers me, and I try to remove it, and it may be that at a given moment it stops bothering me and I stop breaking walls, we'll see. But now another thing appears, the beauty, the glory of existence. It's another motivation, a positive one, I recently changed my push from scaping from the negative to searching the positive. Now I realize how much shit was in me and really wasn't a easy path, but I guess it's like that, often much worse, for most of living beings. Life is hard right? Difficult to understand why it's how it is,  but one thing is indubitably: it's fascinating

@Water by the River @Breakingthewalli  am having an on an awakening on the forum.  God is washing over me.  This is beautiful.

I'd say that the men in black problem in not just lack of meditation but lack of humility, delusions of grandeur, aka narcissism. Getting out of narcissism is a great feat, a very serious wall to break. an armored barrier of thorns.

We have to live up to the challenges that are proposed to us, friends, otherwise, shit will swallow us up. It is the rule of life. If you are an animal you are lucky, if you are not up to the task, you die. On the other hand, if you are a human, you are still "alive", which can be what we call "hell"

yes, Awakening is beautiful...

"Beautiful drowning
This beautiful drowning
This holy water
This holy water is in my lungs"

The lead singer of Live, Ed Kowalczyk has a deep spiritual side. Here is a conversation with Ken Wilber.

From the song "Overcome":

Even now the world is bleedin'
But feelin' just fine all numb
In our castle where we're always free
To choose never free enough To find,

...

And I am overcome
I am overcome
Holy water in my lungs
I am overcome

...
My master's in the yard givin' light [hint to Adi Da, his Guru at the time]
To the unaware...

...

So drive me out out to that open field
Turn the ignition off
And spin around
Your help is here but
I'm parked in this open space
Blockin' the gates of love

I am overcome
I am overcome
Holy water in my lungs
I am overcome

Beautiful drowning
This beautiful drowning
This holy water
This holy water is in my lungs

also beautiful:
